"Excuse me?"
"Please, it's really important," Cynthia sounded desperate. She and Camille made their way downstairs to the general garden. It was located at the side of the hostel for the purposes of relaxations and dates.
"Camille, I want to ask a question."
"Go on. What is it?" Camille mused uninterestedly.
"Have you heard about it?" Cynthia interrogated. Before she carried on, she needed to be sure whether Camille knew of the truth and how to twist the facts.
"Know about what? I don't understand."
Cynthia became confused. With Meethi's dumb character, she should have known by now. Or has she learnt a lesson from past experiences?
"OK I'll just tell you. It's actually a secret about Meethi,"
"What?! A secret? Meethi has a secret?" Camille asked in shock.
"Yes yes yes. Let me tell you," Cynthia quickly calmed her down. It seems she hadn't really known. Hehe Meethi, get ready. I'll drag all your people to my side,
"It's about her killing a child. She killed a child intentionally, but made it look like an accident."
"Oh.....that," Camille leaned back on the bench in a damped mood, "Phew, so that's what you want to tell me. I actually thought you had an interesting gist. Is what you just said a secret? I know it already and I'm sure you must have spread it to a few people around you."
"You...!" Cynthia turned green in embarrassment. What Camille said made her look like a tale bearer and a great gossip. But with what Camille just said, she wasn't in support of Meethi. She was just looking for a gossip on her so maybe she could be an ally? Not all friendships were true.
"Camille. I can assure you you got the wrong information."
"Me? Got the wrong information? You just said she killed a child and that's what she told me. Or are you trying to say I have dementia?" Camille immediately interrupted with an unpleasant expression.
"No...no...no. That isn't what I'm trying to say. Trust me, she must have told you she was schemed against but that's entirely false."
"Eh?"
"Yeah. Let me tell you. When we're in high school, Meet....."
"Save it," Camille interrupted, "Let's talk later,"
"7:00pm after classes. At the school garden. It should be deserted by then," she whispered into Cynthia's ear as she looked to the area full of trees at their side. Someone just came.
Cynthia left after some assurance they were going to discuss again.
Just you wait Camille. I'm doing all I can to please you but a day will come where you'll do all you can to please me but I'll make you suffer.
"Just come out. I don't know why you're hiding. Or do you plan on doing something illegal?" Camille said with a smirk.
"Can you be a little more reserved? How can you embarrass someone like this?" Mark was the first to come out as he started running off his mouth, "Ghost man, is this the girl you said we're meeting? How come she looks so scary? All the ladies I've met in my entire life all bow down to my charm but this one looks like a possessed beauty. Oh beautiful, what's your name?"
"Shut up!"
Two voices simultaneously rang out at the same time.
"*Cough*...*Cough*" Siddharth coughed out loud.
"Heh! No need to be embarrassed if fate has brought you both together," Mark laughed out loud.
"Have you realized you've been the only one talking?"
"But now you just joined me.."
"First of all. I have acted politely enough to the both guys that sneaked in here without proper entry and check up and I also asked the lady that was here with me to leave. If you're still not satisfied with that, I think I should act in the opposite way," Camille fired back.
"Oooh, ooh, ooh sorry..." Mark quickly bowed by the time all if his senses were screaming danger from the person by his side.
Camille's eyes trailed to Siddharth,
"Little boy, you're still coming to make trouble. Eh?"
She sounded like a principal about to discipline an unruly child.
