In a lapse of judgement, the world tries to fix a global illness leading to the creation of another dimension. Those afflicted with this illness are brought to this other dimension where things may not be as they seem.

Paradox

The lights flickered, ultimately shutting down. Tucker stood with his back to the glass, standing in the middle of chaos. Lightning bounced around the room. It struck at everyone. Forcing Kannon to retreat to the hallway with her staff. He ignored her calls to him. His mind was focused on other things. He walked over to the computer station in front of Willis, looking for a button to lower the glass. Then the screaming started. 


Willis screamed, bolting upright and stumbling into the wall. Sliding down to the floor. He covered his ears, frantically looking around until he saw Tucker. Willis crawled to the glass, banging on it. With each hit came an explosion of thunder, making him cry. 


Tucker ran back to the barrier, crouching down to Willis’s level. He saw Willis speaking but he couldn’t hear him. 


“Willis, you have to calm down,” he shouted. From the look on Willis's face, he couldn’t hear him either.
