In a lapse of judgement, the world tries to fix a global illness leading to the creation of another dimension. Those afflicted with this illness are brought to this other dimension where things may not be as they seem.

Paradox

Landon hadn’t been paying attention to most of the fight. He finally noticed the tension in the air when Devin and Tucker stormed off in different directions. Clint had chased after Tucker, so he decided he would go after Devin. 


He only made it halfway down the hall when he thought better of it. Whenever Devin got mad, he liked to be alone. Usually ending up in him breaking something. Landon didn’t want to be anywhere near that. So he turned down another hallway, away from everyone. He found his way back outside. A small patio area with a couple tables and chairs. 


Smiling as the sun beat down on him. The warm air sunk into his clothes, feeling like a blanket and smelling of sunshine. He walked to the edge of the area, leaning on the railing that blocked in the area. It looked over the ocean. His body relaxed the longer he stayed there. Eventually he sat on the warm cement beneath him. At peace for a moment, closing his eyes. Drifting.
