Chapter 48: San Francisco Starlight Facility

At some point the world went from static to high definition. Landon felt like he’d just finished going on a teacups ride for the sixteenth time. His fingers dug into the soft blankets around him. Taking a deep breath he slowly listed to the side, closing his eyes.

“Landon?” Tucker called out to him from somewhere he couldn’t place.

“I’m fine.”

They sat in silence until Landon could open his eyes without the room spinning. The first thing he could see clearly was Tucker sitting on the floor with a few hoodies in his lap.

“What’re you doing?” Landon asked softly.

Tucker scooted a little closer, “I thought you’d want something to put on.”

A blush covered Landon’s face, “I didn’t… why?”

“You were really hot, so we couldn’t touch you. Then you burned the one you were holding.”

“Did I hurt anyone?”

“No, everyone’s fine,” Tucker started separating the hoodies, “there’s a red one, yellow one, and white one.”

“Where’d you find all those?”
