He cannot stand to see the hurting in her eyes, her current state of mind disheartens him. And he knows he has caused it. 


After taking the piece out of shoulder, he bends to his knee and stretches his hand towards her. Her green eyes, the ones he daydreams about are overflowing with tears that make his heart throb. 


"I..I didn't mean to." I'm sorry, please...please. Mona says. 


He watches her wipe her cheeks and takes his hand. This is the second time today that Mona Aurora is taking his hand. How did an evening invite to dinner by her grandfather end up putting him in this position again? 


He senses the fright in her stature, and as he gazes at her when he sees the impact of redness on her cheek.
