Shivani paced in the balcony of their bedroom, still shocked at the way Godha had spoken to Mrityunjay. She was incensed beyond words, not only because of the way Godha spoke, but also at Mrityunjay's lack of reaction. Anyone else in his place, would have smashed the woman's face for talking to him the way she did. It was as she paced with her hands on her waist, needing to release all the pent-up fury, that he walked into the room.
She could sense him coming in and marched over to him, her eyes blazing wild with rage. He stood in front of her, looking at her as if she had just accomplished the unthinkable. "Shivani," his voice was calm as he held her by her shoulders.
"Please explain to me Mrityunjay," she exploded, looking him straight in the eye, "why does that woman talk to you the way she does," she finished.
