I ran to ask her, I didn't have time to put on my shoes and went barefoot, the wet grass annoyed me, and I ran on tiptoe towards her.

-Karen," I called out to her, "Karen! -I shouted and she stopped, so it was easier to reach her.

-Where are you going? -I asked her agitated and puzzled.

- "Great," she said, glancing sideways in disgust and showing desperation. Her irony made me think something was wrong.

-Everything's fine, what's wrong? -I said, trying to meet her eyes. -I don't have time, I have to go," he said firmly, half looking at me and turning his gaze elsewhere.

-Time for what, that's all you'll say? you'll talk to me again without explanation as if I were a stranger, please Karen," I looked at her pleadingly. I was hurt by that attitude.
