Chapter 23 c White Jackets

The white room ticked Iggy off, but he fought his gut instincts and went inside. A woman was there with a clipboard pressed flat against the chest of her white lab coat. Her round head was covered in slick white hair that pulled tightly away from her bulbous forehead, and her ears were round and large, almost dangling from her head with heavy earrings pulling them down. Small glasses hung on her disproportionately large nose, while her solid gray eyes studied him from over her lenses. Iggy couldn’t help but wonder why she wore glasses at all. Once infected, no one really needed them.

As Firmin guided, Iggy sat on the navy examination table and gazed over at the wash station across from him. There were cupboards stocked with medical supplies and a sink. A soap dispenser. The doctor came closer, and although she varied from the doctor stereotype somewhat, he still didn’t like her moving.
