Rodney let out a harsh breath when he got to Whitney and took her in, looking like he had never seen someone like her before. "You look... "
"Fat?" Olivia said monotonously as she raised her brows at him and Whitney gasped while Rodney gave Olivia a death stare. Lillian also mock gasped because Whitney wasn't fat, Olivia had just said that to be silly.
"No," Rodney stated firmly as he ran his hands up and down Whitney's arms and she moved closer to him with a pout on her face while she glared at Olivia. "You're fat," he said to Olivia as he gave her a once over and Olivia's hand flew to her mouth.
Whitney let out a laugh and lightly smacked Rodney's arm, drawing his attention back to her. "That dress... You make it look so beautiful. You're so fucking beautiful," he muttered as stared into her eyes and leaned closer to her.
"I want to rip it off," he muttered in her ear as his hands went around her and her cheeks grew warm while she let out a small laugh, placing her hands on his arms.
"You can do that when we get to our new place tomorrow," she replied and he grinned before placing a kiss on the side of her face as Lillian faced them.
"I love the sound of that."
"Wait, did we miss something. You guys are staying together?" Lillian asked as she furrowed her brows, wondering if she heard Whitney right.
"Yes, we are," Rodney replied without taking his eyes off Whitney and both Lillian's and Olivia's shoulders sagged in relief because they had been hoping the two of them would stay together.
"Wait, Whitney what made you change your mind?" she asked as she got in between the both of them and glanced at Rodney over her shoulder with a smirk on her face. "Was it because Rodney wouldn't stop acting like the world was going to end? You're going to have to teach me the things you do in bed because he was acting whipped."
Whitney's eyes widened because of her last statement and her face became hot while Rodney turned crimson. "I uh, um…" Whitney mumbled and Lillian pulled Olivia away from the both of them, giving her a small frown.
"You have some serious issues you need to deal with. Hey, maybe you can start going to therapy after tonight," she said as she tipped her head slightly to the side while staring at the blue haired girl and Olivia sneered in response.
"I asked her to marry me," Rodney said as he pulled Whitney back to himself and the room instantly became quiet. Lillian and Olivia stared at them with wide eyes and their eyes darted to Whitney's hand which didn't have a ring on it before going back to their faces.
"Did she say no?" they asked in unison and a smile played on Rodney's lips while Whitney buried her face in his chest.
"Oh, no. She said yes," he replied and Lillian and Olivia began to squeal and jump before they made their way over to the both of them, wrapping their arms around them in a group hug. "Her ring's in Gerald's bag. That's why she isn't we it now."
"Oh," Lillian muttered in surprise because she had thought the ring was for her. She was happy for the both of them, of course, but she was a little bit disappointed that Gerald wouldn't be proposing because she had already acted out the different ways he was going to propose to her in her head.
"Wait, did you propose three days ago?" Lillian asked and Rodney nodded while placing his hand on Whitney's head as she still had her face buried in his chest.
"Yes,why?"
"Oh,you guys were having 'we're engaged and we're going to stay together after the heist' sex,"she replied and Whitney made a sound in the back of her throat as she pressed her face even further into Rodney's chest. "I thought it was 'this will be the last time we do this before we finally go our separate ways' sex," she added with a laugh and Rodney shook his head at her like he couldn't believe her.
"You're so… So weird. I'm telling you this from the bottom of my heart. You're really weird," he told her and she gave him a dopey grin as she wagged her eyebrows, making him scrunch up his face before Lillian smacked her over the back of her head.
"Ah!" Her hand flew to the back of her head and she frowned at Lillian before pouting.
"We wanted to tell you guys after we leave the party tonight but well… here we are now," Whitney stated after pulling her head away from his chest and he began to gently push Lillian and Olivia away from the both of them.
"If you'll excuse us, my fiancee and I have some matters to discus. We'll leave you guys to talk about how you're not invited to our wedding since you don't know where we're travelling to," Rodney said and the both of them gasped as they realized he was right while he began to pull Whitney with him out of the room.
"Come on whit whit, don't be like that. At least let me attend through a video call since you won't tell us the country. I'm speaking just for myself and not for Lillian," she called out after them as they walked into the hallway and shut the door behind themselves, presumably to go to his room, and Olivia's shoulders sagged when she didn't get a response.
"Wow…" Lillian muttered as Olivia walked over to the bed so she could take off her shoes. "So that happened… They're getting married."
"I know right," Olivia responded as she undid the straps of the heels and glanced up at Lillian. "I always thought you and Gerald would be the ones to get engaged first in the team."
