Chapter twenty-two :)

The smirk Charly gave him was exactly the same, he had given him two years ago, the same one that haunted Harry in his dreams, he was unable to move or even breathe. Harry's insides curled up at the look into Charly's eyes. The whole cafeteria was quiet, everyone around them disappeared. It was just him and Charly.

The whole room started spinning and Harry's view getting blurred. "Haz?" Louis' hand on his shoulder "Are you good?" Harry tried to talk but it felt like there was no air left in his lungs. He needed to leave as fast as possible "I- I just feel a little dizzy" It was the only thing he said not even looking at Louis as he got up and stumbled out of the cafeteria.

everywhere he looked he saw Charly, the whole hallway was filled with him they all said the same line over and over again "Did you miss me?" Harry squeezed his eyes shut covering his ears with his hands. It didn't work out he could still hear Charly's rusty voice that cursed goosebumps of fear all over his body.

Harry stumbled into the washroom locking himself up. His whole body shook so bad he couldn't hold himself on his legs any longer, suddenly a weird feeling grew in his belly and throat. Harry rushed to one of the toilet cubicles as fast as he could just before he broke down to his knees and emptied his whole stomach.

He found himself crouching next to the toilet rocking back and forth. He didn't even notice that he was breathing so fast those black circles appeared again or that tears streamed down his face the only thing he could feel was a sharp pain in his chest and it was growing. The rest of him just felt empty.

"Harry?" Harry flinched so hard as he heard someone knock at the door that he almost screamed. "What's wrong?" It was Louis' soft voice, he sounded anxious knocking even harder at the door. "Haz if you're in there please open the god damn door!" Harry whipped his tears away with his shaking hands as fast as possible, he knew if he wouldn't open Louis would kick the door in.

But what should he tell him, that Charly was the one who destroyed his whole life? No. Harry tried his best to stand up "Gimme a sec," it was so hard to talk evenly so that Louis wouldn't notice his shaky voice. Harry grabbed the doorknob tightly leaning onto it so he was able to keep himself up.

He was still dizzy and felt so miserable. He slowly walked over to the sink without letting go of the door until he could hold himself up at the edge of the sink. His eyes looked red and puffy through the mirror. Harry washed his face with cold water hoping it would help the dark circles under his eyes disappear faster.

It didn't work out that well but at least a little bit. Harry fixed his hair and forced a smile onto his face that was one thing he was always good at. When he had cried because of one of his nightmares and his mom asked if he was okay he always pretended he was fine and she never noticed that he was putting a mask on which was good at this point.

He held his hands under cold water until they got so numb that they stopped shaking and took a deep breath in before he unlocked the door looking straight into Louis' eyes. He could feel his heart break into a million pieces from the look on Louis' face. "Are you okay? What happened? You look pale." Louis reached his hand out and stroked Harry's cheek.

Harry flinched at the touch of Louis warm hand against his cold cheek. "I- I just feel sick. I think I will skip the rest of the day." he lied and immediately felt bad, he hated lying to Louis especially when the older boy looked so confused and concerned at the same time. "Do you want me to bring you home? You don't look like you're able to drive by yourself."

"I will make you some tee while you are all cuddled up in tons of pillows and blankets and then we can watch some movies maybe this makes you feel better." Louis smiled softly. It hurt, even more, to say what he was about to say. No matter how much he wanted Louis around it was impossible now, every touch of him felt like a touch of Charly. "No" he whispered looking down.

Harry took a deep breath in "You still have lessons today. I will ask Liam, he has to come with me anyway, because I- don't have a key for his house." Something in Louis' eyes faded, they didn't look that bright anymore. "Did I do anything wrong?" Harry swallowed the tears coming up again "No I just don't want you to get sick too Sun." He forced a smile.

There was no way Harry could stay that close to Louis when Charly was around. Why was he even there? How did he know where they were? The whole thing was just too much, exactly at the point, Harry started to trust someone again, the point where he decided to leave his part behind.

At the point where he was actually happy after a long time of feeling alone and empty, almost everything seemed to go well for him. Exactly then the guy who did this all to him had to come back and make history repeat.

Louis had asked Liam if he could bring Harry home and take care of him until he could do it himself. And now they were on their way home. The radio was turned on but the volume low the noise of the cars rushing past them made Harry feel tired, his eyelids heavy.

"Do you need anything special from the drugstore?" Harry forced his eyes to stay open but he was so exhausted and numb. "No." He whispered not having enough strength to keep his eyes open, all he saw were those black circles growing until they covered his whole view.

"Is the curly-haired guy okay?" It took a lot of energy for Louis to stay calm, he didn't know Charly but the only feeling he felt when he heard the guy talk was anger. "First of all he has a name, it's Harry and second of all, it's none of your business." Niall gave him a little push against the shoulder.

"I'm sorry I didn't remember his name." Charly apologized as Louis closed his locker and looked him in the eye "Then you know now." Just because Niall was nice to him didn't mean Louis had to do the same. All he saw when he looked at Charly was his dad and how he got over his mom like she meant nothing to him. And how much he missed her.

"He is just not feeling well, Liam is bringing him home right now," Niall said giving Louis a mad glance. And the fact that he was stuck at school while Harry was sick at home made it even worse. "Excuse me and Lou for a second." Niall grabbed the shoulder of Louis' jacked and dragged him around the corner.

"What the hell is your problem?" Niall looked mad which was a really rare thing to happen, it made him feel bad. "Why are you so nice to him? You know that he is the son of th-"

"He has nothing to do with it, Lou. You can't blame him for what dad did." Niall cut him off.

"It's not right."

He was right. Charly wasn't responsible for his dad's decisions but it was so hard for Louis to get along with him. "You don't have to like him just try not to make him feel like you hate him." Louis just nodded looking down at his feet thinking about Harry telling him to be nice to him. "I will try." He said so quietly he could barely hear his own voice.

Charly still stood at the exact same place Niall and Louis had left him. They all had chemistry now, Mrs. Millers was always earlier in the classroom so they hurried. Louis walking next to Niall who was talking with Charly about some kind of a video game he didn't know so he just stared at his phone hoping for Harry's number to appear on the screen.

It didn't, he tried not to worry too much. Harry had looked horrible, dark circles under his eyes, pale skin and shaky dry lips. Louis felt the urge to just skip school and drive over to Liam's and check on him. "Louis Tomlinson." He looks up meeting the teacher's eyes, he didn't notice her entering class "No phone use." She said strict and took it out of Louis' hand. "You can pick it up at the director's office after school."

Ugh. Those stupid rules. Now he couldn't pick up if Harry is calling. He took a seat next to Niall at a group table across from Charly who must have noticed that he was upset. "If you're waiting for a call you can use my phone if you want." He offered smiling softly. His smile was one of those who made people immediately feel better but it wasn't even close as beautiful as Harry's. Louis thought turning his head over to Niall.

He gave Louis a nod to show him to be nice and accept the offer. "Thanks," he said as the blonde boy kicked his phone across the table as inconspicuous as possible. Louis took it letting it slide into the pocket of his jeans jacket. After half of the lesson passed he asked for permission to go to the toilet.

He took the phone out, typed Harry's number on the keypad and held the phone at his ear. It was quiet for a few seconds. Louis' fingertips tingled at the beep of the phone. Louis walked patiently back and forth. "Hello?" he stopped in front of the sink looking into the mirror as he heard a deep voice on the other side of the line. "Haz?"

"No, it's Liam Harry is asleep. Who's phone are you calling with?" Liam whispered. Louis could hear him closing a door. "Uh, Charly's. Mrs Millers confiscated mine. How is Harry?" Louis asked tensely playing with the string of his hoodie. "I don't know honestly, he fell asleep on the way home and didn't wake up yet."Louis watched his eyebrows rise through the mirror.

"How did he? Did you carry him?" he asked confused. "Yes, and it was everything but easy." Louis chuckled at the thought of Liam stumbling upstairs and Harry just sleeping peacefully in his arms. "Thank you for taking care of him."

"Sure, that's what friends are, therefore. Speaking of, what happened between you two?" Louis caught himself smiling like an idiot.

"Well, uhm" He chuckled scratching the back of his head. "He came over to decorate and then we- we" Louis paused "uh, Kissed?" he smiled so wide it hurt. "Aww" Liam squeaked so loud Louis had to hold his phone away from his ear. "Ow?" Liam laughed at the other end. "I'm sorry I'm just so happy for you."

A smile grew on his face realizing how happy he was that Harry felt the same way as he did. "Can I come over after school? I need to check on him," Louis asked seriously. He was just worried about Harry and needed to make sure he felt better.

"Sure," Liam said softly. At the sound of his voice, Louis could tell that he was smiling right now.

"See you Payno."
