Chapter twenty-seven:)

Harry's eating habits got better through the days as well as his health. The dark circles under his eyes were almost gone and his skin didn't look pale anymore. His lips were pink again and the cut on his wrist started healing. Luckily Louis hadn't noticed it and he didn't ask a single question about the incident at school.

Harry was still under shock but he knew that they still had one and a half week of the holidays left and Christmas time had always been his favourite time of the whole year so he just tried not to think of Charly too much and 'enjoy' the time he had until school starts again.

Harry had lived together with Louis for a week now. It was defiantly stressless than with all the boys like when they were snowed in. But sometimes it was quite boring because they stood home all day.

Sometimes Niall came over and they played video games together. Other days Liam and Zayn brought them some food. But it got boring to stay home all day. Louis wanted to be sure that Harry was strong enough before they would leave the house.

Because Christmas was in less than a week and Louis hadn't bought a single present so far. They decided to go to the mall.

Harry stood in front of the mirror in Louis' room eyeing himself through it he wore a thick grey hoodie that looked a little oversized on him, his trusty black skinnies and brown Chelsea boots. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do with his hair so he just went for a black beanie.

Harry couldn't wait for summer to finally start because, hoodies were cosy, yes, but he liked loose blouses or shirts better.

"Are you ready?" Louis stepped into the room. He wore his usual jeans jacket with a black shirt underneath and black ripped jeans. God how was it possible that he wasn't cold. "You know that it's freezing outside right?" Louis looked down at himself, he wore his vans. Really? Vans in winter?! Whatever, he was a grown-up man.

"You are gonna freeze so bad" Harry watched Louis roll his eyes and sight "No I won't" His chuckle looked so cute and it was even cuter when he looked down on the ground trying to hide it. "because I'm-"

"Immune to the cold. Yes. I know." Harry finished his sentence because he knew exactly what Louis would say. It's what he always said but actually, it always ended up that Harry gave him his jacket or they had to hurry because it was too cold for him. Even tho Louis never admitted it, it was true. "I know Lou you always say that."

A pinkish tone covered Louis' cheeks, it cursed a little smile onto Harry's lips before he turned around and followed him outside. They took the car and drove for about ten minutes. The shopping centre was the one where they have already been once.

The only thing Harry could think of the whole ride was their kiss. It felt like ages ago and other than the thing at the shopping centre, it actually was. After that night and the day after, it was like before, they had a lot of those magical moments but they always acted as nothing had happened afterwards. It was stupid and both knew it.

The shopping centre was so extremely filled up with people that Louis barely found a parking lot, after five times driving around the parking space they finally found one. Now they were walking with the stream of the crowd.

"Uhm, Lou?" Louis looked up to him from his left, "Do you- you know Niall, Liam, Zayn and you- do you give each other presents on Christmas eve?"

"Oh don't even think about it." Louis smiled.

"But-"

"No, I don't want you to spent any money for any of us dorks."

Wasn't that the whole point of the trip? Whatsoever Harry had bought a little present for Louis anyways. While he tried on some clothes Harry used the opportunity and bought one without Louis noticing. It wasn't a Christmas gift, it was a birthday gift, so Louis couldn't be mad.

And even tho, they were b- wait what are they? Close friends? Not really, friends don't kiss and they don't look at each other the way they did.  But they haven't kissed again or anything, so they aren't boyfriends either, right? Harry tried really hard to figure out what the hell was going on between him and Louis, but he just can't.

Five hours and 23 Shops later they were finally done with the shopping trip, it was already dark outside and it had started sowing. Not that much that it would stay until tomorrow but it looked like the perfect winter evening.

"You remember the last time we have been here?" The memories caused a smirk on Harry's face, how could he forget? It was one of the favourite things he had done together with Louis. "Yes?" He breathed with a huge smile on his face looking down into Louis' blue eyes. The shopping centre wasn't that filled anymore, the two boys were on the escalator a few bags in each hand.

Louis gave him his adorable sunshine smile and nodded the way up. "Did you bring a hairpin?" Harry chuckled pulling one out that stuck behind his ear, that he put in this morning and showed it to Louis with a proud smile. Louis chuckled.

"I can't believe we're here again." It still looked breathtaking to see all the lights glow in the dark, but today it snowed and it looked even more magical. Harry walked closer to the window wall and let the bags drop on the floor. It was insane. "I feel like in a movie just without the background music." Then he turned around to Louis who stood a few feet behind him taking his phone out.

"Let's change that." Harry watched him biting his lip looking down at his phone. He had started a random playlist they just sat there for a while watching people pass by outside. "Look at them." Harry pointed at a couple, dancing under a street lamp almost like in one of his favourite movies.

"They look cute." Louis got up and reached his hand down to him, smiling softly. Harry looked up in confusion. "What?" Louis sighed and rolled his eyes. Then he bent over to grab Harry's hand and pull him on his feet.

"What are you doing?" Their chests were just a few inches apart and Louis' hand still in Harry's. Harry's heart skipped a beat as he realized what the older boy was about to do. "I Uhm I don't know how to dance." He breathed seeing a smirk widen on Louis' face it made his dimples show up. Harry never noticed the boy had them before.

The butterflies in his belly went all crazy as Louis put his other hand around Harry's waist and let it rest in the middle of his back. "Then I will teach you now." He closed the gap between their chests exactly at the moment a new song started playing. The song was called 'Already Mine' by Us The Duo, at least that was the name that popped up on Louis' phone.

Harry's heartbeat raced, "Now take a step back with your right foot." Harry did as ordered without looking away from Louis' eyes that looked like the ocean, so deep you could drown in them. It took a little while until Harry got the whole 'choreography' into his head.

They sometimes stepped on each other's feet which made them laugh multiple times. But after a few minutes, they were dancing just like the couple outside. Louis' head leaning against Harry's collarbone. Harry's hand on Louis' back. But there was one thing on his mind that bothered him the whole day already. How Louis' lips were pressed tightly against his, how every piece of Harry's body tingled at the first touch and his heart felt like it would explode.

"What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing."

"Yes, you do, it's loud,"

"Really?"

"Yes. What is it that gets your whole attention while you're dancing with me?"

Louis whispered Harry could tell he was smiling. He chuckled feeling a smile starting to grow on his face as well. He could never pay any attention to anything else than Louis when he was around. Jesus. Why did it take so long for him to understand that? There was nothing else he wanted.

"I was just, uhm I can't stop thinking about our ki-"

"Me too" Louis breathed interrupting Harry in the middle of the sentence pulling him down. Their lips met and it felt soo good Harry tightened his arms around Louis' middle while he was holding Harry's face between his warm hands. Every touch felt like a firework.

Of course something had to interrupt them. It was the growl of Harry's stomach, he hadn't eaten all day. Louis slowly pulled away chuckling "Looks like someone is hungry?" he smiled looking up with his big blue eyes, Harry felt the heat in his cheeks.

"Chinese?"

"Chinese." Louis agreed.

Once they stopped the music, took all their stuff, and closed the door to the huge room they walked downstairs. Back to reality. "We really have to come here again."

"A hundred per cent." Louis smiled offering his hand Harry took it and intertwined their fingers as they made their path through the centre to get to the food area. It felt so good and relieving to know that Louis still felt the same way as himself.

After the last four days, Harry thought that Louis didn't feel that way anymore but he was wrong and that was everything to him right now it made him actually happy.

Louis had the idea to take the food and eat it in the car, and because everyone gave them weird looks on the parking lot for some reason (Okay maybe the music was a bit loud) Harry gave him the directions to a little park where Louis finally stopped the car and handed Harry his noodle box. They tasted so good Harry leaned back closing his eyes for a second.

"How did you find out about the last floor?" Harry asked curiously grabbing more of the noodles with his chopsticks leading them to his mouth. "Well, uhm-" Louis started clearing his throat before he continued. "my mom used to work in the shopping centre and it was the project she and some other people were working on. She took me with her really often and yeah I kinda liked this place."

"And when I need time to think or just want to be alone I go there." That wasn't the answer Harry expected he looked over to the older boy, head down staring at his chopsticks. He must have noticed Harry staring at him, he turned and gave him a little smile.

"It's fine, lately I made some happy, magical memories with this place." It made Harry chuckle, he knew that Louis didn't like to talk about his mom so he tried to change the subject "Do you remember when you made fun of Niall because he snored and drooled all over Zayn's pillow?"

Harry watched the smile on Louis' face finally reach his eyes, he nodded. "Well, you do that too." Harry shrugged and they both burst into laugher. "I don't."

"Yes, you do."
