Todoroki's

After a couple more hours of note-taking and studying, Ani was released to Enji and she was brought to the Todoroki abode. Ani was scared shitless. She couldn't really remember much about MHA, she didn't have all the information readily available and only had knowledge of certain events and surface levels of characters. She had only realized Enji was Endeavor after spending a bit of time talking to him. She knew the events up to the Summer camp, but that was bout it. She also knew about the far-off villains, like all for one and the meta-liberation army, but she only knew *of* them.

Very briefly, she had been scared of Endeavor, but the more she learned about her situation pre-mortem the less concerned she became. This Enji seems a bit different from the manga/anime one, calmer.

The home was gorgeous, truly a work of art in every aspect. The very traditional home made Ani smile. Apparently, she had a property soon to be in her name back in the states, a family home named River Oaks, (If ANYONE gets that reference, I'll love you forever.) but that seemed so distant.

She followed Enji to the kitchen, as it was about that time. When she walked into that foyer, there were a couple of gasps.

Four pale faces framed with white and red-orange hair stared at her, mouths agape.

"A...Ani?", Shoto spoke first.

"Shoto."

Enji immediately picked up on that, "You remember names?"

That had been her mistake.

"I remember everything not involving...well, me."

"Why wouldn't she remember our names?", Rei spoke up. This was going to be a long night.

The explanation took most of dinner, a nice change of pace for the Todoroki's usual tense dinners. They were all very surprised that the previously timid quirkless ward that had lived in the city that they checked on every few days now had wings and could disappear. Shoto was silently overjoyed, then incredibly depressed.

Ani learned that she had been Shoto's only 'friend' in his life. He had only stopped being Isolated from his siblings a few years ago, after Enji had broken down.

He still detested his father and his mother was still not in the best mental state, but they were much better off than the Anime/Manga Shoto. In the back of her mind, Ani wondered who else had changed because of her presence.

Near the end of dinner/explaining the giant fucking wings, Enji made an 'Anouncement'.

"UA admission is in a few months and Ani here needs to catch up. Her training with us begins tomorrow. Shoto, show Ani here her room for the time being."

Apparently that wasn't her choice either. Nodding, she followed the other teen through the massive house. Finally reaching her door, she stepped inside. She then walked to the bed, put her head in her hands, and started crying.
