Chapter 23: New Suits

Our suits came in the same design but different colors. Conn's was in red, white and blue, Honey's was in green and yellow, Nicholas's was in Black and gray, Bea's was in pink and green, and mine was in red and yellow.

Each had a core as the main base power and Corinne told us the cores were made of Vibranium. Some old Stark tech has also been used to enhance parts of the suits. It was specifically included to enhance the abilities of its owner up to two times their current range.

It featured the default modes stealth, combat, undercover, everyday, normal and training. Currently, it was set on training but would be on normal when our mission started. The suits were compatible with all tech and was even self cleaning! After practicing with it for awhile I found it was breathable material, sweat resistant, and resistant to damage.

When Corrinne thought we had enough practice, she tells us to morph them into army uniforms and she leads us through the gallery to a large display of weapons and tools.

"Cool!" Nicholas stares at all the equipment.

Honey just jumps up and down trying not to scream.

I glance at Bea and there is no emotion in her face or eyes, just a blank look.

Conn on the other hand is looking longingly at all the gadgets.

"Wow! That's a lot of gadgets."

Corinne has us stand together in front of the massive wall. She starts handing us gadgets. "Conn, you get a reinstated shield of your fathers."

Tossing it to him.

"Nicholas, you get an upgraded mobility device."

She sets down a new wheelchair.

"Corrinne, I don't give up my wheelchair. I thought my file would have mentioned it."

Corrinne nods.

"Your file didn't say anything about that but we can make adjustments. Honey, you get a set of homing devices that are traceable using heat capabilities."

Handing Honey a metal bracer, she continues on. "Bea, you are given this bracelet that will help you maintain your form of creature for ten times longer you currently can, provided you don't lose consciousness. It is undetectable by metal detectors, X-rays, sensors, heat and any other means of security test. It is not a bangle bracelet. Tony we are instructed to give you the final copy of your suit attachments that Professor Byron has completed for you."

She pulls out my rocket boots, and gloves from under a display case. "Professor Byron has finished them and they book like new. He has added a few abilities though, shooting up to six micro missiles from each wrist."

I examine the gauntlet I was given. Corrinne cautions me,

We don't have refills yet, so use them sparingly. Byron says he's still working on a convenient reload and magazine." she hands me the gauntlet and boots. Man! They were sharp! The metal boots were a shiny red with yellow detailing, the same yellow and red as my suit. The gloves matched the boots and all were made out of Vibranium.

Corinne dismissed us to Carol who had our next assignment.
