After they ate dinner and settled down, the group of wandering warriors huddled around a campfire, resting and basking in its warmth. 


Vic began to introduce the backgrounds of the wandering warriors, starting with himself.


“I actually grew up in the Wana Clan, which is known for casting powerful charms. Often, we will get commissioned by other clans to help them cast shield charms, defensive charms, and other enhancement charms.


Unfortunately, almost everyone in my clan got killed when they were betrayed by another clan that was jealous of our powers. Staying at my home in those lands constantly reminded me of my grief, so I decided to come out and make a living for myself as a wandering warrior.


Because the Wana Clan was rather well known in the area, it wasn’t hard for me to start getting jobs. But one thing that I missed was the sense of community.
