Chapter 25: First Editions

The General dragged me back to the mansion. It’s funny to realize that it only took about ten minutes to walk from the tailoring shop upon going home. That’s probably one of the advantages to living in the Capital. Back home, it took about one 15-20 minute ride to go to the town square where everything is located. Walking was not convenient.

He didn’t care if the maids and the guards were wondering why he’s dragging me. No one asks what the General is doing as long as he is within his mansion. I was blushing the whole time and avoiding eye contact with anyone.

He took me upstairs. We passed by his wall of swords and traditional tokens then we turned left to another hallway. I didn’t know that his mansion could be this huge. I haven’t even explored much of its halls.
