Chapter 27: Bryan’s Secret

I still have to go to school the following day despite the arrow pierced through my heart.

My brothers were noisy as usual while eating breakfast while I was descending from the stairs.

My hair was messed up, and I didn’t dare to comb it. All of them grew quiet when I approached the dining table. I could feel the weight of their stares but didn’t return an eye contact.

Dad pullet out the chair at my usual place at the dining table, and I thanked him for that. I was surprised that my plate’s already filled with eggs and sausages,. At the same time, my glass is already filled with milk already.

Do they know about Dana and Stephen? Did they know that I wished I could have just died last night? Probably not.

“Are you sure you’ll go to school, dear?” My mom asked me. I was kind of surprised that she wasn’t mad at me from last night. She even called me “dear.”
