Chapter 33: Terence
It was Saturday following morning, I bought ice cream and then danced along to Taylor Swift’s “1989” album through my earphones around the park.
The balloon man was somehow started mimicking my random moves and gave me a balloon. I was digging coins inside my handbag, but he says, “No…no, it’s free. It’s free for the happy lady.”
One kid rollerbladed around me then I grab his arms as we started swinging around until we both got ridiculously dizzy and we dropped ourselves to the ground. We were laughing until I heard someone, “C’mon, get up! You look ridiculous! hahahaha, Hailey.”
He helped me get into my feet, and I asked who he was in between my laughter while the kid rollerbladed away.
I rolled my eyes before I got up. Who could be the person who destroyed happy moments just like that?
My eyes grew big when I realized who is standing in front of me. “What are you doing here, Terence?”
