Chapter 36: Unflunking Math
“I think I like Corey.”
I’m now eating with Elaine and Christine back again. I missed this routine, and I’m glad I’m back with my old life again.
These little things like laughing over spilled orange juice and talking about scary teachers bond us.
“Are you sure he’s not Greg?” I teased.
She rolled her eyes at me. “At least Corey doesn’t sing like an idiot like Greg.” We chuckled.
Her statement marked that she’s totally over it. “It seems like Kevin Francisco really liked Rose after all,” Elaine said before taking a bite from my burger.
We turn to see Rose being assisted by Kevin while they are both carrying milkshakes.
“At least a guy likes her,” I said while frowning.
“C’mon, do we really need to get boyfriends? I mean, we’re Freshmen, and we need to worry about other things like passing Algebra,” Christine stated.
Christine is always the mature one, and I guess, from time to time, we should listen to her.
