Book 1: Freshman Hailey
Pensive and wide-eyed Hailey Madrigal thinks that being a freshman in high school will finally earn her some respect in her family. 
But it isn't easy overcoming insecurities and gaining confidence when she is constantly compared to her popular and talented brothers who also go to the same high school as her.

Elaine is vindictive, so she plotted to get even. It’s not revenge we were seeking for, it’s just fun against the players. We will play with the players. 


It happened after school. I lied to Trevor that I have an article to do for the school paper. I told him that I have to stay at school for at least an hour before I could go home.


“Why can’t we bring Chris along?” I whispered while we were creeping inside the gym. 


It was the perfect timing because most students went home already, so not a lot of people were around to witness Elaine’s unfolding plan.


“Because she’s still sensitive with Greg,” she answered. “Plus, you know, Chris hates these things.”


My heart was pounding in my chest. I could hear every beat as adrenaline crept through my brain. My palms started trembling and sweating at the same time. But the danger was driving me to do things out of my zone.
