How Chu Weixu showed an indifferent attitude towards Ai Zhiyi confirmed that he had indeed purposely made Chu Baiyu cry.

Ai Zhiyi pursed his lips. It was unthinkable that Chu Weixu would act so rudely to a little child!

Anger shook Ai Zhiyi's crown. He had never been this irritated with Chu Weixu before. Now, he felt the heat spewing out of his heart like an erupting volcano.

There were many things he wanted to tell Chu Weixu at this time, but he didn't want Chu Baiyu to hear him say many bad things because he afraid the child would imitate him when he grew up. So, Ai Zhiyi said softly to Chu Baiyu, "Xiaoyu, your dumplings are ready on the dining table. Go eat them while they're still warm."

While weeping, Chu Baiyu nodded his head obediently. He got up and ran outside.
