"Run, Rai, and never look back!" Midori shouted as she blocked the entrance. There were dozens of auras belonging to rushing straight at her.

"No, I'm not leaving without you!" I shouted back at her. She was already in terrible shape. She couldn't possibly hope to stand against the in that state.

There was no reply, but she gave me a warm smile. It was then chains started wrapping around me.

"Zei, take care of that idiot." I looked to my side to see who bound me to these chains. I was about to reprimand Zei, but I could see her shed a lot of tears as she turned back.

"Wait, no! Zei, let me go!" the chains started pulling me as Zei moved farther away.

"Midori!" I called out her name, but she didn't look back. She greeted the enemies with her broken blade.
