The mother and child were already in my store. I was stocking the shelves with food and thinking about what I could do to make a better store as they walked in. I looked at Alex and looked up. I saw the beautiful woman. She suddenly turned at me and...
Half her face looked charred off. It was ugly on her beautiful face. She proceeded to ignore my rude stare and asked, "may I see these so called chips?"
I lowered my gaze and told her to look in the first aisle. Only then did she notice the size of the store.
"Is this spacial magic?"
"Yes ma'am"
"Don't call me ma'am, I'm only twenty two."
"Ok then."
She took a look and grabbed some classic Lays chips.
"Ma'am, if it isn't too rude, may I know what happened to your face?"
She sighed. "I saved a bunny in a forest fire, then my husband left me."
That was... simple.
You know what? "Ma'am, I got something for you. Pay for the chips and I'll heal your face."
"..what?" Her voice was soft and quiet.
"It's on me today."
She bought the chips and I grabbed some special Sprite.
"Is this an elixir? I've tried many elixirs, even those that costs a crystal."
"Just trust me."
I opened it and gave I other to drink. At a visible speed, her wound started healing. She gasped.
"This tastes great! But it won't help me."
"Ma'am, feel your face."
She felt her face and almost passed out from shock. I was right. Only a glimpse of her true beauty was worth it. It goes against my principles to date or even marry a girl with a child, so I didn't even try to flirt.
Suddenly, the door busted open.
"MADAME!"
About 15 giant men barged into the building. They were each at least 6 foot and 2 inches with taut muscles.
"Boy! Where is your mother? Why are you crying? Who hurt you?!"
Alex pointed towards me and his mom.
The mother stood up and said, "boys, it's me. This young lad saved me."
Tears started falling from her face and all the men's face. One of them started tapping a jade wristband on his wrist.
One of the burly men spoke, "thank you lad, you helped our leader get her beauty back. We thought you were one of those filthy Coyotes."
I was curious.
"Coyotes?"
Another giant man spoke up. "It's a rival, ahem, evil gang. We work to disband them. And today, when we thought that they kidnapped her, we completely destroyed them."
Eventually, everything calmed down and the men bought some snacks. Less than ten minutes later, they all came back asking for more. This time though, they had at least fifty more men with them.
I made a lot of sales and got around 15 golden coins from the non special products alone. The special products sold and got me about 5 crystals.
Hey system.
"Yes?"
I got 5 crystals, isn't this a milestone?
"..."
"Take 5 weapon boxes."
Why not 100?
My soul can mass produce it now right?
"These are higher quality, and therefore are harder to make. They don't follow the same rules as lower quality stuff."
Understandable.
"Hey host."
What?
"Want to open up a second shop?"
Sure.
"Never mind."
Why never mind?
"How will you manage it?"
Sometimes I doubt your intelligence.
"Then tell me how."
Split up the hours. You can figure out a way to make a portal right? Between the shops.
"Yes. Good idea."
"By the way, I've trained your soul to increase the mana pool (now a mana ocean) and increase mana production. It works more efficiently now. But, you need to adjust your mana flow."
I broke my deer legs last time and reformed them into human legs, isn't that enough?
"Your mana flow system is messing up the mana flow because it's reshaped. That's why you're slower than you could be."
Ok.
I focused on my mana and pushed it towards my legs. It was like I was pushing my veins. I felt power surge through me. It worked right?
"Yes."
Nice. What should I do now? It's boring.
"Open up a new shop?"
Sure.
I summoned Doof from my space and got ready to head out. I got on top of him as the doors opened for me automatically. It was beautiful outside. It felt nice. As we rode out the store, I saw a bird fly overhead. What a fat bird. Weird wings. Is it vomiting? Oh, it spits flames. Wait what? A dragon?
Eh, let's kill it to tame it. What could go wrong.
