Chapter 24

I looked up as a truck pulled up. "It sounds like she's here." I said.

"Great then you can help me." SHe said to me.

"Sure just guide me.." I said as I stood up and she grabbed my hand and led me to the machine.

"Okay. Can I lift it from here." I asked grabbing the edge of it.

"No here." She said, guiding my hands down. There was a grove. "You can lift from there." SHe tells me and I regrip.

"Move back." I tell her as I lift the thing.

"Okay so turn to 3 oclock." Nicole said and I turned. "Now." She started snapping as she muttered a count. "160 steps at a middle tempo."

"Okay." I did the same count and stopped.

" Lift it up please. Take three steps right one step forward then bring it down slowly." SHe tells me.

"Nicely done." Dad said as I was setting the device down when there was a woosh and the thing was ripping out of my hands.

"What the fuck Father?" I yelled at him.

"What the hell Clark!"

"Dude she was putting the damn thing down." Nicole growled.

"You are a machine." Papa snarled at her.

"Oh yea well put the damn thing down so I can do what was asked for me. I don't have the capacity to do so here so please." Nicole said.

"Clark." Dad growled.

"Bats…" He started.

"It's not like she doesn't know. Now put the machine on the truck. I don't want her linking up to our computer so we are taking it to her lab." Dad said.

"Father please for the love of Rao stop acting like an ass." I snap at him.

"Excuse me?" He asked me.

"I said stop acting like an ass." I growled at him. I clicked my tongue as I started flying using the sound to get me to where he is.

"What are you doing?" He asked me as I took the thing back from him.

"I am doing what was asked." I said turning and started moving down.

"Shift three steps to the right." I shifted and went down. "One step forward." Shifting and then I went down. Once it was settled on the bed. "Catch." I caught the chain. I ran my hand along the device to get it up and down as someone tug it down from my hand. "Give me." Nicole said and I giggled and I gave it to her. "Come here." she said a minute later and she pulled with her. She put another hook and chain in my hand. "Up and over." She tells me.

"Ok." I smiled and did just that.

"Thank you."

"No problem." I tell her.

"Who the fuck froze me?" Father asked.

"That would have been me." Loki said.

"Who the fuck are you?" He asked.

"I am Loki God of Magic and chaos." He said. "I stopped in to make sure you all had more than you had what you needed but you also need to learn when to step back young kryptonian." He said. An alarm went off then.

"What the hell?" Nicole asked as I listened to the cave.

"Alister?" I asked as I heard his heartbeat.

"You're always good and yes I wanted to check on everyone since it's been 6 hours." He said.

"Hey Love sorry it took us a while to get an alphabet from Dora." Nicole said. "Then Dora's father from this dimension showed up."

"I thought Death told you guys to stay away." His voice moved quicker than I know he has been.

"They did, that's why he came to us and not to Dora." I said. "Three or four?" I asked

"Three steps then a drop." Nicole and Alister said.

"Thank you." I said walk off the truck and landed on the ground.

"Welcome." They said.

"For a blind person you move very well." Loki said to me.

"Multiply already enhanced hearing but 100 and you have my hearing. Honestly If it wasn't for the spell Dora put on my earrings I'm not sure I would be able to handle anything louder than a pin dropping." I tell him to knock on the truck. "The echo sound helps me determine where things are. I can tell you that my oldest brother Is hanging from the rafters." I knocked again. "My younger brother is down along the side of the drop off into the back part of the cave."

"Fuck how did you know that?" Neal asked.

"Again I can hear it." I told him then I stopped and thought about something. "Lucifer how pissed would they be if I gave him a picture?" I asked him.

"That would depend on the picture." Lucifer said.

I patted down my pockets for my phone and passed it to Nicole. "There should be one with Dora and Ruma during the last show we did."

"Printer be where?" She asked me.

"There is one here in the cave honestly it's better than the one upstairs." I tell her.

"Okay." She said then the next thing I hear is the printer.

"Weren't you all doing Darkness in this photo?" Lucifer asked.

"We were." I agreed.

"Darkness?" Loki asked me.

"It's a song. That we sing and dance to." I tell him.

"Your entertainers?" He asked me his voice getting a hard edge to it.

"Probably not the kind you're thinking of." I said. "My dads would kill me with that kind of entertainer. No, we are stage performers."

"Oh." He said.

"I would invite you to the show but." I said.

"No I am sure she would pick up on my magic." Loki sighed.

"I am sure she would." I agreed with him.

"Especially when she gets all her magic back." Nicole said.

"Her magic is sealed?" He demanded.

"No." Lucifer said. "It is limited because of what she can do when she is angry."

"She cracked Asgard like an egg with her full power." Nicole said. "She sh."

"Nicky." I cut her off.

"Okay okay sorry right. That is something she will tell him when she is ready." She agreed.

"Alister Lucifer." Jason said as he walked in.

"Jason." Lucifer said politely.

"Hey dude." Alister answered.

"Sometimes I wonder if you really are over 100,000 years old." Nicole huffed.

"Now I am insulted, my Love." He said.

"You're welcome."

"I was stuck in a tree with your mother for 10,000 years." He reminded her.

"I am aware." Nicole huffed.

"How did that work?" Dad asked.

"I was insane after losing my first wife." He said. "Damn witches." He mutters. "I spent a good chunk of that time raging trying to get out of the damn thing then when I finally came out of my rage Mariah kicked my ass and made me see that I had lost my mind and in the memory of my wife I should not have lost my head the way I did and tried to wipe out the witches." He said. "Then we spent the next couple of hundred years figuring out how to make sure I did not lose my head again and how to get Mariah our of the tree." He said. "I still wanted to kill all them damn witches for s different reason after I was out."

Metal creached. "Can we not please." Nicole said her voice sounded like she was on the edge of cring."

"Sorry love." He said.

"Its okay. I just."

"I know." He said softly.

"Hugs?" I asked holding out my arms.

"Hugs." She laughed as she hugs me and I hug her back.

"Well I need to get this to the lab so I can work on this thing." She said after a minute. "Alister Car come on." She said as she pulled away from me.

"I need to get back to Dora." Lucifer said.

"And I should return to asgard." Loki said.

"Well I hope to see you superbats at the show on wednesday." Nicole said as they pulled out and left.

"Wait, she knows you outside the mask?" Papa demanded as I rolled my eyes.

"Nicole is my group's choreographer and text person." I tell him. "Besides, she already knew who I was." I said turning towards the stairs.

"Clark I don't like it either but she already knew there's not much we can do about that."

"Red before you touch that console I would recommend disinfecting it since some people like to have it in the cave when they tell us not to." I said as I passed him to enter the eliverater.

"LARA!" I heard both of them scream.

"Well that was funny." Hellian said as she stepped out of the shadows.

"Hello Hellian how are you?" I asked her.

"Fine just came to check up on you since my Lady is busy with her mother."

"No problem I am heading up to get some food anyways. Papa is probably not happy with me but when is he ever when I am not acting like a damn china doll." I rolled my eyes.

"If he knew what you did with half your shows." She laughed.

"Tell me about it." I groaned. "Well I am getting food, would you like some?" I asked her.

"No, I need to get back to hunting. I will check in again in a few hours." She tells me.

"See you then!" I tell her as the door opened and I walked out and headed to the kitchen.

"I see you have returned." Alfred said.

"Long enough to help a friend loud that thing onto a truck and whatever Dad has to talk to Jason about then I will leaving." I tell him. "I thought I would steal some food while I was here."
