Chosen Hero

Charles narrows his eyes at me before smirking. A chuckle rumbles in his throat as he leans towards me, causing my muscles to twitch as I fight the urge to back away from him as he closes the distance between us. 


"Awe, what's the matter princess?" his smirk widens, " Just because you change your appearance doesn't make you any more powerful. We both know that you are the same weakling you've always been." 


His girlfriend snickers beside him as I raise an eyebrow. A smirk slowly forms on my own face as I lean forward, surprising him enough for him to move back unconsciously. 


"Oh I'm way stronger than that weak girl. Now you are going to tell me where the twins are or I will make the next couple minutes a living hell." A snarl slips from my lips as the water twirls around my hand. 


"And how do you plan on doing that?" he tries to force a brave face but I can see the slight spark of fear in his eyes.
