Chapter 13 – Mihawk resolve

' Do I really have the resolve to reach the top? What am I even pursuing his teaching for? What am I even want went I reach the top? Do I want Power. Fame. Wealth? No, I don't have any of those desire.....

So. . . . what do I even want, why am I even want to get stronger in the first place. Maybe He is right, I'm just a pathetic human.' Mihawk thought to himself while trying to catch his breath from just being pressure by Yuuto.

His clench fist start to loosen, the more his thought proses further, and he start hearing Yuuto word once again.

". . . . . . I will take YORU with me. . . . . ." he barely paid any attention to what he said, but that one sentence stuck in his mind. And something in him snap

'He will take away my sword from me...? Why. . . . he doesn't even have the right to do so." Mihawk breathing start to regulate normally and his right hand reach to his back griping the hilt of the sword and swung it stabbing it to the ground in from of him

'This sword is my first companion, my first friend in this world. The first thing that has deep connection with me and my only identity. The thing that has been always been with me since I can remember. . . . And he want to take such thing from me….?' He gently touch the black blade like he's touching a precious being

' Why did I want to become strong.... Right, it's because I want to become worthy owner to this sword. I don't want to disgrace such sword for having an unworthy wielder such as I and I want to take this sword with me to reach the top height of swordsmanship. And for that I need to challenge every swordman that is in my way to reach the top." He slowly stand up and grip the hilt tightly, head lowered.

'Even thought only now I know that you have such history. I don't care for any of that, you are mine now and I will take you with my own hand to reach the top just like I promise you back then. With or without help we will reach that height together

Isn't that right. . . . Partner?" the aura around Mihawk start to change, the sword in his hand start to look and extension of his arm as if he become one with the sword.

He slowly lift his head and a thin smile appear on his face.

*burst*

A powerful burst of will explode from him as he gave the man that was about to take his Partner from him a warning

"I don't care if you insult me nor do I care if insult my generation of ancestor. Thanks to you I know where my mistake is, it was the fact that I always put a thin wall between myself and Yoru. All this time I want to reach the top with the goal of wanting to be worthy him." he pull out his sword from the ground and slowly take a stance

"But I was wrong, he doesn't want that. He want us to be in equal ground, and now that I acknowledge that, we can try our hardest to reach our goal to become the Greatest Swordsman in the world." His eye turn sharp and some type of force start to leak out from his eye aiming at Yuuto who just stand there without any expression.

" And I don't take your word to separate us to kindly. If you insist on doing that, even if I die. I will resist till the end"

*Riiiiiippppp*

As Mihawk finish his word Yuuto hoodie is torn to pieces by some unknown force revealing his chiseled body leaving him only with his pants. Despite all of that Yuuto expression didn't turn to that of shock or angry, but contrary from that he has a huge smile on his face

*Whistle*

". . . . . "

there was an awkward silence when Shanks suddenly whistle. But it was quickly broke down by Yuuto Laughter.

"Hahahahahahahaha" He start laughing to himself with his hand covering his face and mumble "Finally, finally. . . . After so long" he said in such a low voice that they only manage to hear only some of the word he said

"Soo.... Are they gonna fight?" Shanks question Rayleigh that's beside him

"Huh?" Hearing shanks question Yuution turn around and look at Shanks curiously and then finally he get it. Making him laugh even more " Hahahahahahahaha. Oh man, no wonder he's so serious. So you're ready to fight till dead? HAhaahahahaha"

"Pfft hahahaha"

"Gurararararara, brat next time when someone is talking make sure to listen carefully. Gurarararara" Rayleigh and Whitebeard also laugh seeing that Mihawk misunderstood Yuuto word.

"Hahahaha, I think you didn't even hear what I said fully. So what type of inner monologue did you have back there hm? hm?" Yuuto approach Mihawk and ruffle his hair and said with a teasing smile " It's ok, I also use to have my own motivational thought. . . . pfft" he try to sound serious but slip up at the end

As for Mihawk, he relax his posture after hearing what Yuuto said but his face cant hide his emotions properly as it show how irritated he is but there also some tiny blush when hearing Yuuto teasing word.

After sending Whitebeard ship away and pointing him to more normal route much to the dismay of his crew as the way they come here cant be said to be easy, only Yuuto, Rayleigh, Shanks, Mihawk and Buggy remains.

" So are you finally going back 'Home' Rayleigh?" Yuuto elbow and said to Rayleigh with a teasing smile.

"Huh?" hearing Yuuto questions Rayleigh momentarily froze and look at him " W-Wait, how do you know where I came from? No-no I guess it will even be more weird if you don't know about it" Rayleigh sigh and rub his forehead

"Hahaha come on, your sister and I are 'bestfriend' you know?" Yuuto smirk and continue to teasing him

". . . . . Anyway I'm not coming back. Me and my wife already settle down at sabaody archipelago and open a bar there." This time it was Yuuto turn to froze, and then he said emotionally at him

"Sniff Sniff, everyone has grown up. Only the pitiful me still hasn't settle down yet"

" HAHAHAHA come on old man. You're still young" Rayleigh put his arm across Yuuto shoulder and said cheerfully

"Tch , get off me you brat." Yuuto swat Rayleigh arm forcefully and turn to the three boy that was talking behind them " Come on Brat, let's get out of here. I don't have many time to dwindle around here " Yuuto shout toward them and take out a large beautifully carve surfboard from his newly wore hoodie.

"HAI!!!!" Shanks shout and turn his head back at the two other boys " Well, see you next time at sea. I will find you two by then to join my crew!!!! "

" HUH?! Who said that I will be joining your crew you bastard" Buggy retorted back.

"..." Mihawk just go the other way to his 'ship'

" Where are you going? Didn't you said you want me to train you?" hearing his voice Mihawk step freeze and turn around with bewildered expression

"But you sai-"

"I change my mind, come on. Before I change it back" Yuuto said not even turning around

"HAI!!!"

"EH?!! What about me? If those two can train with you I must join too" Buggy said and running toward Yuuto catching up with him

"You?" Yuuto look at buggy up and down and flatly reject him" Nah, if I train you the sea wont be calm for the next 100 years"

"Wha- wait for me. How can you reject the great Buggy-sama"

Facing the sea shanks ask Yuuto

"Sooo sensei. What do we do first?"

"….. Surfing" Yuuto grin widely

[I'm sorry for missing for awhile. I currently busy with my job and hasnt have time to write any chapter.
