After finding inn to stay at me and the kids, after a good night of sleep began to explore the hub with us playing many mini games witch were littered around the Hub with some I recognized as the ones stampee made in his Minecraft series and like that time passed as the day for the monster swarm came as I left the two kids I side our rooms at the inn as I moved to my designated guard area where I was handed a bow along with 2 stack of arrows witch made me wonder how many people will we be attacked by as from what read in a book I bought it only takes 1 headshot to kill any basic mob and with more than 75% of the chosen being proficient in the art of the bow it makes me wonder what is to come.

sadly I don't have time to contemplate this as the night soon came as with my high perception I can see doesn't wait no hundreds of humanoid figure just outside the light of the light towers witch were set up to prevent the from spawning directly in top of the wall.

"everyone ready up"

shouted my section commander as me, the half a dozen chosen and few dozen warrior villagers knocked a arrow in our bow as we got ready for the zombies approach.

"Mother of all that is holy!"

one of the chosen next to me said as we watched as hundreds of zombies armed with damn mix of leather and iron armor, a iron sword and a few wooden shields charged out at us on the wall.

"don't fire until you see the black in there eye's!"

our section commander said as we all picked our target mostly aiming at those zombies without shields as we waited for the orders.

"Fire!"

yelled the section commander as we all let lose our arrows witch barely do nothing as shockingly the zombies without shields doged behind a zombie with one.

"fuck"

I whispered softly as I watched the zombies approach closer and closer to the wall as we let out continuous volley's of arrows witch seem to become more and more useless as the zombies get better at dodging our arrows.

"Fuck this only the first night!"

I yelled as I watched a group of leather wearing zombies run to the front of the group as they began to place down blocks to form stairs.

"oh hell nah!"

I said as I took out flint and Steel as I lit the block in front of me on fire as I switch back to my bow as I shot arrows threw the fire at the stairs the zombies were building witch was luckily made of planks.

"arg!"

I heard several zombies screech as they were lit on fire, witch brought me happiness which was soon destroyed as I saw that around a few dozen blocks to both sides of me the zombies were able to complete there stairs witch allowed a few zombies to to get up on the wall.

"ain't no rest for the strong"

I said as I activated lightning cloak as I ran over to one of the finished the bridges where I began to slaughter the zombies witch I easily push back as I burnt down the wooden bridge up here.

'now to the next one'

I thought as I rushed to the other bridge witch was constructed as I did a similar thing a did to the other one with me killing the zombies and destroying the bridge.

'wait where the hell are all the chosen'

I thought as I looked around during this intense battle to find a chosen witch soon fails as I didn't spot a single one but I did find several piles of loot witch seemed to be the remains of other chosen all with a arrow right next to them witch at the same time made me remember something about my Minecraft.

"skeleton are fucking snipers!"

I yelled as I immeaditly dodged several arrows that came my way as I took cover behind a block as I looked over the army of zombies where I see a large group of skeletal figures chilling on trees as they pointed bows in our direction.

'i will deal with you in a second but let's deal with the lack of elites'

I said as I took out several iron blocks as I began to build a iron golem witch I soon finished doing as I created 4 iron golems witch I dispersed into the area along with that I summoned all my available shadows as I had them take up places on the wall.

"we should be able to hold for the night"

I thought as the fight continued for several more hours until the sun rose witch all the villagers celebrated too, while I only kept a solemn face as realized yesterday was the day of the first small mod and it was the worst one I can think of.

"Mob combat extended"

this mod increased the skill and A.i of the mobs as they now gather in groups and they now spawned in with at least basic armor with them also not burning in the sun no more, and that's not even the worst part as they can now have mutated versions.

"Fuck!"

This was the last thing I yelled as I headed back with my 4 golems in tow as I think about my future.
