Gordon's True Power

The whole place was a mess. Gordon's plan totally failed, he couldn't even protect one person. How could he protect others when he couldn't even protect himself. He was put in a very tight spot fighting against this Thorian. It was gradually overpowering him.

"Arrgh"

He flew back from the hit delivered by the Thorian spitting out blood.

On the other hand, Simeon one of the remaining guys standing was having a very hard time as he was dealing with a Thorian and 3 Daemon. His chain blades were beginning to break apart as he attempted to get rid of the Daemon. Swinging his chain blade as hard as he could, he made a deep cut on the hand of the Daemon. Simeon smiled but failed to realize that a Daemon had already gotten so close to him.

"Arrgh"

Simeon fell on the ground while groaning in pain. He had been stabbed from behind by a Daemon. Looking up and forcing out a smile showing his bloodied teeth, he shouted.

"It's been an honor to fight side by side with you. I'm very....." His life was cut short as the Thorian had impaled him a spear killing him instantly.

More screams came from all sides as the remaining four except for Gordon were killed one after the other.

The entire settlement became a slaughter house as dead bodies lay everywhere.

"Give up now puny mortal and join your fellow comrades." the Thorian fighting Gordon spoke.

"Never" Gordon replied rushing towards the Thorian attempting to strike it. The Thorian held Gordon's axe without moving and then proceeded to hit his side with it's axe. Without allowing Gordon to leave it's reach and drawing Gordon back, he delivered a direct punch with it's steel coated arm.

Gordon flew back spitting out blood together with some of his teeth.

"How about we make this interesting" the Thorian said.

"You fight me alone, like a one to one duel. If you win, you can take your life and we'll leave you for now. But if you lose, then it's over. After all, you're the only surviving person now. Note, you should fight to kill and so will I."

"That's okay with me" Gordon said.

Gordon's eyes began to become dark blue, the blue flames around his body became more brighter. In his hand a dark blue energy blade appeared and solidified. The hilt had the shape of a skull, the blade was becoming longer until it had long sharp blades in both sides with little spikes protuding all around it. Gordon ran towards the Thorian who stood unconcerned. He leaped up in the air swinging the blade throwing out a rotating energy slash. The Thorian jumped away averting the energy attack. Gordon landed on the ground creating a huge crater. His back was facing the Thorian. Swinging the blade left and right, he created several stationary wave attacks. Stamping his foot on the ground all the attacks moved past him heading for the Thorian. The Thorian leaped into the sky dodging the attack and came down running towards Gordon. The Thorian suddenly stopped in its track, it had several slashes around it's body.

"How...." it managed to utter before falling into several parts.

Gordon turned towards the remaining Thorians with an angry face.

"Anyone else?" he asked mockingly.

"Let me teach this brat a lesson" a Thorian ran out from their midst heading towards Gordon.

The Thorian stabbed it's spear against the ground propelling it upwards. Stretching forth its hand, it sent a Qi blast in the shape of an arrow hitting Gordon who was flying towards the it squarely in the chest sending him crashing down to the ground with immense speed. Without waiting for Gordon to get up, the Thorian released itself down the the ground like a lightning bolt landing upon Gordon creating a large crater in the ground sending rocks flying everywhere.

The Thorian came down from Gordon's back and sent a kick to the weak Gordon's chest sending him spiralling in the air and then crashing onto the ground. Like a bolt of lightning the Thorian leaped towards Gordon kicking him up in the air. The Thorian teleported just on top of Gordon in the air and kicked him back to the ground.

BOOOOMMM

The fight seemed one sided with the Thorian thrashing Gordon. Landing on the ground, the Thorian delivered another kick to Gordon's chest sending him flying horizontally. Before Gordon could land, the Thorian had teleported some inches behind him stretching forth his steel like arm. Gordon's spiralling body collided with the fist of the Thorian.

THUD

Gordon's soaring came to an end as he landed on the ground. The aura around him began extinguishing.

"I won't die" Gordon muttered before falling completely on the ground.

"He's dead" the Thorian stated while walking back to the rest who were about to do what they really came to do.

A light suddenly shone brightly expanding in size from where Gordon lay. Through the light a shadow could be seen standing upright. By the time the light had extinguished, Gordon could be seen standing emitting a golden silver radiance. Silver sharp glowing lines were coursing around him.

"I'm sorry" he spoke, "It's gonna take more than that to kill me"

"Don't worry, this time I'll finish you up for good." the Thorian that had supposedly killed Gordon said rushing towards him. Gordon himself leaped towards the Thorian preparing a good fist punch. However, white energy began to form around his outstretched fist creating an energy fist just like his physical fist.

BOOM

Both fists collided with a great power incomprehensible. The Thorian flew back crashing into the ground grunting badly. Gordon crossed his fingers resulting in a bright white light which created a skull head rotating with immense speed.

'est` mont°ara·con·mo`tria·.'

The skull turned blue and then floated midair. Out of the sockets shot out streaks of white energy trimmed with blood colour. The Thorian didn't have time to react as the blood lined energy pierced through him creating several holes in its body. The Thorian tried to dodge while running around. However, the streaks of blood lined energy was just too fast. The energy pierced him until he was nothing but a mass full of holes. Soon after, the attack stopped. Gordon walked towards the Thorian. The Thorian attempted to rush towards Gordon, but Gordon swung his hand creating an energy blade attack which vanished on getting closer to the Thorian.

The energy attack reappeared behind the Thorian slicing off its left leg.

The Thorian grimaced in pain as Gordon walked towards it.

BAM

The Thorian released a Qi blast which threw Gordon away. With it's remaining working leg it propelled itself off the ground to throw itself upon Gordon. Gordon created a yellow Qi blast which threw the Thorian offm pm no no balance.

Before he could get up, the Thorian had already reached him again. Gordon had no other option but to use his spear- like double edged to attempt piercing the Thorian. However, the Thorian held the energy blade pushing it back to Gordon. The situation was Gordon on the floor holding energy blade attempting to push it through the chest of the Thorian who was standing over Gordon attempting to push the energy blade back to him. The Thorian was gradually overpowering Gordon forcing the energy blade back to Gordon's chest.

Gordon attempted to push the blade back, but it was useless. He couldn't think of anything else but magic.

Gordon's eyes became thick blue coloured and the energy around his body began to grow more faster. Soon, Gordon's hands were completely blue, same with his eyes. He struggled with the Thorian for some time before gaining the upper hand. Pushing the energy blade up forcefully, the blade stabbed right through the chest of the Thorian.

Spurrr

The Thorian spurted out blood from its mouth, even from it's nose. Gordon kicked the Thorian off him sending it to the floor to cherish it's last breath. Soon after, the Thorian was dead.

"Very good, very good" a very huge Thorian said. "Like we said, we will keep to our words to spare you for now. However, Lord Un-thor won't let you go just like that, he'll look to take you. So, I'll advise you to join us soon before it gets to that. Till next time. But before I go...."

The Thorian stretched out it's hand creating a brown rising atmosphere, sand - like which entered the eyes, noses and mouths of every dead person.

"That's our main mission. I advise you to get out of here before these..." he said pointing to the dead bodies, "... arise."

The Thorian taking the lead flew out of the destroyed settlement after which the others including the Drakes followed.

Gordon's eyes were full of tears but he knew from this point, he couldn't do anything again. Managing to gather some energy, Gordon stretched out his hand creating a portal which he stepped into.
