Alpha Wild Wind Wolf
Only his back was visible as he held his katana in its sheath as he dashed toward the village at breakneck speed.
When Wade arrived at the village, the first thing that came to mind was the quest from the village guard.
Wade walked up to the guard before realizing that he didn't kill an elite wolf yet.
"I see you completed most of the mission I gave you. But not all of it. You still have to kill an elite wolf."

"I've killed 50 of the normal wolves but I haven't seen one Elite Wild Wind Wolf yet. Could you tell me where it's situated so I can kill it?"
"Of course, you should've asked this question earlier. When my mother and son died to the wolves, I sought out revenge and found their den. I wasn't strong enough to kill any of the Elites or their Pack Leader, unfortunately enough. I'll mark out the den for you on your map."
After the village guard said that, a red circle appeared in the Beast Forest on Wade's map.
"Thanks. I'll definitely succeed sir."
"I believe in you, son. Your strength has grown exponentially since I last saw you."
Wade left after waving goodbye to the village guard.

After a few hours of traveling in the deep forest and avoiding all the monsters, Wade arrived at the wolf's den.
It was hidden under an outstretch of a tall rock. There were many wolves beneath it with a bright white wolf on top of the rock. The white wolf looked at him fiercely before howling to the wolves below it.
Wade used [Inspect] on the white wolf and the Elite wolves around it.

The normal gray wolves surrounded him but he decided to quickly and efficiently kill all the normal wolves and save the Alpha wolf and Elite wolves for last.
Wade activated [Reaper's Breath] and sent it out while slashing out with his katana. He received many notifications as he killed wolves and every chance he got, he sent out [Fireball], [Weak Wind Blast], and [Reaper's Breath]. Many red and gray numbers were floating up above each wolf and Wade himself was surprised at his combat effectiveness.

He also strengthened himself using [Damage Increase], [Defense Increase] but controlled himself to not use his [Berserk Potion] until he fought the boss.

A few minutes later after killing all the normal Wind Wolves.
Wade panted as he stared at the pack leader and the elite wolves surrounding him. He put away [Reaper's Edge] and unsheathed [Bloodshed] and [Bloodbath]. Wade stared straight at the Alpha Wolf before slashing all the wolves around him into pieces with [Reaper's Breath] then charging toward the Alpha Wolf.
The Alpha Wolf sent [Upgraded Wind Blasts] before activating [Alpha's Call].
"Damn it."
Wade cursed as the Alpha Wolf seemed to be smarter than his comrades and stunned him after launching its attack.
Wade's [Vampire] ability on his swords activated and his health rapidly regenerated as he continued slashing through the Elite Wild Wind Wolves while blocking their [Wind Blasts]. More red numbers appeared and the Elite Wild Wind Wolves gradually fell.

The Alpha Wild Wind Wolf continued to annoy Wade by using [Alpha's Call] but Wade had already slaughtered most of the wolves with only a few wounded Elite Wolves scattered around the Alpha Wolf's den.
Wade was tired of the cat and mouse game so he switched out his swords for his katana and activated [Edge of the Blade] and without any suspense, chopped the Alpha Wild Wind Wolf into two.
After the battle, the system notifications started flooding Wade's screen once more.

Before Wade didn't copy the wolves' skills because they were too sub-par and if he used his knife, he could easily send out the same skill. However, now it was different. These were wolf-exclusive skills and abilities that could help him extremely. Wade clicked [Yes] with a smile.

Wade shifted his attention to the two spells that had leveled up. He was glad that the two spells he had were upgraded because they were quite useful for continuous and bonus damage. He added 36 stat points to all his stats and his menu now looked like...

Wade clicked [Stay Anonymous] as he wasn't ready to reveal his name anytime soon or he would get targeted once his identity was stripped. He wasn't powerful enough to avoid that.
Wade logged out with a smirk on his face. He wondered what everybody's reaction would be once they saw a level 31 dominating over level 20s and 15s.

Jasmine checked the leaderboard. She was one of the Anonymous users and last she checked she was in 4th place. When she opened the [Leaderboard] function, what she saw made her frustrated. She had tried to overtake third place which was in the hands of [Poison's Embrace] and now a new challenger had appeared.
Somebody at level 31 appeared at the top of the leaderboard and decided to keep his name anonymous. Now she was at 5th place with her rival taking her old placement.
She stomped in frustration before logging out.

Wade woke up at midnight in a good mood. He had secured some of his future in the game and now it was time to secure his future here in the real world.
He walked outside with his cased sniper rifle along his back and a pistol from the last fight in his back pocket. Wade didn't bring knives because knives were more recognizable in guns in some situations and could get you arrested much easier than carrying a gun.
At least you could knock out the police officer before he handcuffed you for carrying a gun. However, with a knife, Wade learned from personal experience that if a police officer saw it out in the open, he'd think you're some kind of serial killer and handcuff you immediately.
Now, this was laughable, yes but that's how Wade learned the rules of the streets. Tomorrow, he had to pick up the money that they owed him. Wade decided to have some fun while he still could. He went into an abandoned alley, changed his attire to something less conspicuous, and hung his bandana around his face.
Wade walked around, looking for someone to brawl with. He liked brawling much more than anything else as training himself was like training his lifesavers in the future.
The only thing one can depend on in life is themselves so Wade took it upon himself to brawl with any tough-looking man in the slums.
While he was thinking about this, he bumped into a man carrying a coffee. Wade leaped back when he felt contact as his reflexes were trained to the limit. The man however wasn't so lucky as the hot coffee landed on his t-shirt and dripped down onto his shoes.
If you looked into the man's face, you would see menacing eyes and a memorable long beard.
"Watch your step, young man. You don't wanna get beaten up."
"Shut your trap, old man. Your beard's longer than your damn stick. I came to the slums tonight for a fight, so don't run now."
"You-"
Before the bearded man could reply, Wade punched him in the gut right where the coffee had landed earlier. The bearded man tripped and fell while groaning in pain.
"You'll pay for that little bastard."
The man stood up and ran towards him in a standard military combat stance.
It didn't matter though as Wade sidestepped and grabbed the man's arm, sending his face into a fire hydrant nearby, directly knocking him out with the force Wade's arms carried.
A few people following behind the man gasped as they saw the man with a bloody nose, crooked nose, and wet clothes as he lay on the ground.
It seemed many more people wanted to fight Wade as they got into various combat stances and edged toward him.
A bald man was the first to assault him but Wade quickly put him out of commission with a sidestep and a chop to the back of the neck. Three people then charged toward him after Wade knocked out the bald man. Two of them tried to hit Wade with round kicks but failed as he ducked and grabbed one of the men's legs and pulled the man towards him before releasing his hand and allowing the man to slide on the wet ground before falling once more.
The other two men tried to kick Wade again but he pushed their legs away before ducking to the ground and foot sweeping both of them. They collapsed to the ground while howling in pain.
No other people came out trying to fight him but instead slowly left the scene. Now Wade walked off, happy that he got to train a few of his skills.

The man monitoring Wade reported in his transceiver once again.
"His skills are still fresh, sir."
"Hmm, monitor him for a few more days then you can leave."
"Yes, sir."
The unknown man flipped off his transceiver and once again jumped off the building where he was monitoring Wade.
