Van der Linde

I move through the train with the others, looting the corpses Arthur left for ammo and money, we make it about 5 cars in when I feel my head buzz like there's danger approaching, I duck quickly as a bullet grazed my hair, missing by about an inch. I send a hateful glare to my right, where a few lawdogs with rifles on horseback are following the train and trying to pick us off, I quickly pull my revolver and quickly aim at them and getting them to back off, however my hands are shaking, and this body has a big lack of muscle needed in order to keep a grip on revolver if I shot it, so I get into cover of the next car quickly with the rest.

"Damn!", I hear Lenny shout, "Those lawdogs aren't gonna let us pass through to the next car, because we have a platform car in front and back!", I notice he's right and that were trapped in this car until we take out the lawdogs outside. 'THUMP', a loud sound happens behind us, causing us to be alert, and boy we needed to be, as 2 of the 7 on horse back jumped onto the platform car behind us, taking cover behind crates and barrels strapped to the car.

I grimace seeing that this situation is a bitch and a half, though as we get into cover we hear gunfire outside the car, and then the lawdogs stand to fire, but the farthest one gets a shot to the face from the allies outside, most likely the rest of the Van der Linde gang, and Lenny takes that opportunity to shoot the other on the train dead. Now that our opponents are dead, we finally start moving again to the front, but as we walk onto the platform car in front, a black suit man with a red bandana over his face jumps on and yells out, "Lenny! Good to see you in one piece! And I see you found some acquaintances while on our little 'escapade'!", it was mister: I have a plan himself, Dutch Van der Linde.

Shortly after Dutch hopped on, the train stopped in its tracks, 'damn I missed Arthur being hit with a shovel', I thought as we made the way to the rear of the train again to the armored car, it goes on as it did in-game, but there were 3 others in masks as well this time, me, Vince(the black man), and Daisy(the girl). After getting the guys out of the armored car and ensuring they didn't do nothing funny I went in with Arthur and Lenny to loot the rest of the car on the right with Micah and Vince on the left opening the safe and we started to pick the place clean. Arthur tossed me a black satchel that had a bit of supplies he found, I searched a wardrobe and found about $20 and a bottle of whisky, I then searched an end table and found a premium cigarette pack, and a pristine blue metal hunting knife which looked really cool.

While waiting with Lenny for Arthur to finish searching the one end, I searched the satchel Arthur tossed me, and found blueprints that show all the hidden items in the floor and walls, etc. that wasn't in the original, there were four spots, two in the floor, one in the desk at our end, and another in a hatch hidden by a lamp lever, "alright, Lenny you get the floor spots, I'm too weak to pry floorboards", I said the young man looking over my shoulder at the blueprints, "aye aye, captain", he said while chuckling and prying open the spots I marked on the floor with my new knife.

I first checked the desk spot, it was a simple poke a pen/pencil through the hole and lift the fake bottom trick, after lifting it, I found about $260 in money clips and a platinum pocket watch that I decided to keep as a momento of my first robbery with the gang. I noticed Lenny had finished prying a floorboard and I went to see what he found, apparently he found a gold bar just tucked under there, Arthur apparently found the bank notes on the train and came over to see us looking under the floorboards of the train, "what in the hell are you two doing?", he asked, but when he saw the gold bar he was confused, "where the hell did you find that?", I quickly turn to Arthur and excitedly exclaimed, "it was a secret compartment. Quick! pull up the other floorboard I marked!", Arthur then turned to look where I was pointing to see a inconspicuous board that'd been marked with an 'X' by my knife and quickly went to open the floor there.

"hey Lenny, let's check the lamp one while he's doing that", I tell Lenny, and after receiving a nod we head to lamp marked by me, and after giving it a pull a hatch opens in the floor and reveals a safe, "I got this", I tell Lenny, and proceed to pick the safe by listening for the clicks as I turn the dial, and I silently thank god that the original owner of this body was a sneak thief and could pick locks and safes. I get the safe open to see a few expensive cigars, and about $300 in a money clip that I quickly split with Lenny. We were done with the safe but then I noticed something in the bottom of the shallow safe, there was a fake floor! I quickly opened the fake floor to see a S&W model 3 Schofield revolver that looked to be a custom made one, it was pure black in metal, with a silverish-gold color decorating the handle, with a 4 leaf clover etched into the handle, I then pull out the revolver from the safe and put it in my holster while I put my plain one down on the desk nearby.

"tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum let's go, this thing is dry", I hear Micah say as he exits the car and I notice Arthur had apparently found some jewelry in the floorboards that he gave to Lenny and left while I was opening the safe, and was outside showing the bank notes to Dutch and was figuring out what to do with them, when Lenny and I step out of the car and show our finds as well. An all-round good haul with about $700 in which i got $50 due to my find, We also decide to not execute the employees from the armored car due to the magnitude of our finds, Bill then starts up the train and let's it start rolling on its own, hopping onto his horse with Vince and follows us as I hop on Arthur's horse, and Daisy riding with Javier, as we head to the Van der Linde camp to discuss our full haul, and what us prisoners want, join them, or live free.
