Future Great Hero?

When Khan was looking at the crystals, the ship had already undergone its first hyperspace jump. They had to make three more jumps before they arrived at the Gerrenthum system; Located Galactic north of Bespin and Hoth.

Even if this system was located in the outer rim of the galaxy, it was situated on a major hyperlane called the Corellian Trade Spine. They could take this hyperlane and arrive at the galactic core within two days.

Because of how busy it was, they didn't have to worry about finding prey. They went further east, between the Gerrenthum and Nothoiin system.

Khan sat on the bridge with Belia, Habitat, and Natasha. The ship's Interdiction field was turned on and they just had to wait for a ship to pass by.

"Is this how space pirates operate?" Belia turned to Khan, she knew he'd know the answer.

"No, they don't have our technology. They usually wait at hyperlane junctions, waiting for a ship to return to real space and plot their next jump to change direction." Khan sat there with his arms crossed.

They'd already waited for two hours. The field ate through their power supply to keep active.

Natasha sat there with a double-bladed lightsaber hilt and rotated it in her hand. She and Khan made it using the Kasha crystal. It gave the blade a golden-yellow color.

She also had a fist-sized piece installed inside her back while Khan and Belia wore amulets tucked in their suits. While not as powerful as the head-sized piece they used before, these were portable.

"Habitat, have you organized the data collected on the crystals? I want a meditation chamber built in our rooms, as well as one of the training rooms replaced." Khan turned towards Habitat.

"No problem." She nodded. "I also recommend studying it for power generation and using it in the ship's weapons. We collected more than enough."

"Good, I'll leave that research to you. Save some for future use though."

Just when he finished speaking, an alarm went off in the room.

They turned their heads and saw a rectangular-shaped ship pulled out of hyperdrive. The ship looked to be the same size as their transporter, but was built more for hauling cargo.

Habitat acted without delay. The ship's ion cannons locked on the ship and immediately fired.

The blue bolts streaked across space and struck the ship. It seemed to glow for a moment as all of its systems were knocked offline.

"Have we finally caught a fish in the net?" Khan looked at the ship magnified on the display.

"Should I tow the ship back?" Habitat turned to Khan.

"Of course! Let's go welcome our guest." Khan rose from his seat and everyone followed along.

Knocking out a ship of its size is the same as a sneeze to the Prometheus.

The Prometheus's tractor beam locked the ship and pulled it in. When close enough, spider bots flew out of the hangar and latched onto the hull of the ship.

They cut through the outer armor and sliced into the controls of the ship. They restarted the ship's power systems and controlled it into the hangar.

Habitat had already moved the three transporters closer together to make room.

Khan and the gang were already waiting when the ship landed. The droids controlled the boarding ramp of the ship to drop.

"Republic basterds!! You're not drafting me in your shitty war!!" As soon as the door opened, an angry roar sounded.

A human-looking male wearing a snazzy outfit and a long black coat rushed out. He didn't even wait for them to answer, as soon as he saw Khan he fired rapidly with the pistol in his hand.

Khan held out his hand and blocked Belia to prevent her from acting. Natasha had already lunged forward and ignited her lightsaber.

She held the hilt with both hands and deflected the blaster fire with her double-blades. Not relying on the force, but solely on her own quick reflexes.

When he saw his blaster wasn't working, he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a thermal detonator.

Before he could press the button to arm the grenade, Khan waved his hand then clenched his fist.

The grenade flew from his hand and he felt a crushing force surround his throat at the same time. His eyes bulged and his body suddenly rose a few inches off the ground.

One hand clasped his throat, but the other raised the blaster and continued firing at Khan.

"Oh? What fighting spirit." Khan held out his other hand and ripped the blaster from his hand.

Catching the blaster, he dropped the man on the ground.

Khan walked towards him, when he saw the man was about to move again he spoke. "If you move again you will die."

The man paused his hand moving towards his coat.

Natasha put away her blades and clipped her hilt back to her waist. She moved to stand respectfully behind Khan.

Belia walked up to the man and looked at him curiously. This person looked human to her but she wasn't sure. The top right side of his face looked cybernetic as well as his right eye. "Are you a human?"

The man looked at Belia and smiled. "Why don't we find a quiet place away from the Jedi and you can find out." His eyes traveled up and down her body, but when he saw her lightsaber his face fell. "Never mind."

"Interesting, you think we are Jedi? What are you running from, tell me, or I'll rip the secrets from your head myself?"  Khan crossed his arms and looked at the man with interest.

The man looked around the ship confused by Khan's words. When he saw all the starfighters and droids he realized he'd never seen any of these models. "You're not Jedi or with the Republic? Then are you part of the group attacking Republic space?"

He shook his head as he spoke. "It doesn't matter, you asked why I'm running? Because the Republic is recruiting whoever and whatever it can for their upcoming campaign! Those crazy bastards are moving towards the Expansion region of the galaxy and the Republic has to stop them."

Based on this man's words, he already knew what was about to happen. The Republic and Sith were about to battle on three different fronts.

"That means the Republic is about to become extremely occupied, a lot of their focus is going to turn towards the northeastern region of the galaxy."

His brows furrowed, that's the exact area of the galaxy he needs to go. He doesn't think he can break through the Republic blockade.

"You came from the direction of Eriadu, what's going on there?"

"Bah! The Republic doesn't care about that place at all on weekdays, now it's super focused on arresting criminals for reform! We know what they really want, cannon fodder!" The man almost spat, but he remembered where he was.

The Prometheus had no problem moving in stealth mode. The only issue is it had no way to navigate without Belia or himself constantly feeling the way.

The best option was to deploy quantum satellites throughout the galaxy. The next best option was for something to guide the way.

Khan's eyes were attracted to the cybernetic implants on the man's face. While deploying robots would be the simplest way, Cyborgs would garner far less attention.

Just by looking at this man's clothes, he can tell he's a proper citizen of the Galactic Republic.

Khan stretched his hand forward and bombarded the man's mind with the force. It didn't take long for him to collapse.

"Take him to the lab and prepare a cybernetic brain similar to the one I created before." Khan signaled for a droid to take the man away.

"I've already copied the transponder code from his ship, do you want me to dispose of it?" Habitat spoke while the man was being carried away.

"No, we still need this ship. That man is about to become a great hero of the republic." The corners of Khan's mouth rose.

"What are you going to do?" Belia gave him a weird look.

"Belia, have you ever played a video game?" He answered with another question.

"I've known you my whole life, you know I haven't." She gave him a blank stare.

"Then you just have to wait and see." He shook his head and turned to Habitat.

"Keep the ship in place for a few days, I'm going to need time."

"No problem, I can start discerning what I need to do to retrofit the ship using kyber crystals."

Khan signaled for Belia and Natasha to follow him to the lab. "I have a lot to do in a few days, I need you two to help me."

"I'm at your command, Master." Natasha answered with a blank face.

The droids in the lab were busy transporting and processing the crystals into shape for the meditation chambers when they arrived.

Khan first came to Sheva's sister to check how she was doing. "The baby has already started development. Its midi-chlorian count is holding steady as well."

He turned towards the child developing in the tank and saw the count had already started dropping.

"Belia, do you feel anything wrong with that fetus?" He turned to Belia to see if she could tell what was wrong.

She placed her hand on her chest and closed her eyes. It took her a moment but she eventually felt the ripples around her.

"It's being rejected by the living force, its ripples overwhelmed by those around it." Belia opened her eyes again.

"Is that the job of a mother? No, maybe because it goes against the natural order of things." Khan recorded his thoughts and went towards the Cereans.

All those strapped down were female. He only captured a total of four males. He wanted to see why this race only had females. If needed, they could serve as incubation chambers.

His main focus was still on the Crowns, waiting for the eggs to hatch. He had a feeling they would be of great help to him.
