Ysanna

Belia's eyes widened when she learned the tree was a Jedi Master. When she wanted to take a closer look, Khan grabbed her by the wrist to stop her.

"Don't get close to that tree for now." Khan shook his head. He wasn't going to risk awakening this ancient Jedi. Even if he still needed over fifteen hundred years to recover.

"Can it still recover in the state it's in?" Belia looked at the tree a little unbelievably.

"Its roots are buried deep in the planet. Drawing energy from the living force of an entire planet can give him incredible powers." Khan released her wrist and glanced back at Natasha and Sheva.

Everyone had already stepped off the transports and they took off to retrieve the next group from Prometheus.

"Set up the base camp to the south of here. How you handle the rest is up to you. When taking over tribes, children three years or less are to be brought back to the camp for training."

Khan gave his instructions before walking towards the temple with Belia. Twenty spider bots in drone form flew next to them.

Sheva turned to Natasha. She was going to default to following her lead.

"The nearest tribe isn't too far from here and we can use that once we capture it." She glanced at the troops she had available for now. Besides the Rattataki, she had a few assault and assassin droids.

She taped a bracer on her wrist and a hologram of the area appeared. "Assassin droids will move to this ridge to get an advantageous position. The rest of the droids will surround the settlement as they arrive. Set all blasters to stun."

She glanced at Sheva and the Rattataki. "We'll push into the village and round up and stragglers."

"This should be easy with the droids, they don't have the technology to counter them." Sheva nodded in agreement. She didn't want to risk the few people she had if droids could complete the task.

Khan and Belia had already arrived in front of the temple. Khan placed his hand on the stone wall. If he didn't know this was a building he'd think it was the side of the mountain.

"Drill in through here." Khan signaled for the drones to come forward. They exposed their legs and clung to the stone.

Using lasers, they started cutting away bricks. It only took them a few minutes to cut a few feet deep into the mountain.

A gust of stale air blew out of the hole and hit their faces. "How many thousands of years has no one been inside here?"

Belia marbled as she moved through the hole and entered a hallway. While the outside was completely devastated, the inside held up fairly well. A testament to the builders of the library.

Khan sent the droids to map the way and released a few fist-sized drones to follow them and record.

"How much lost knowledge do these walls hold. The secrets hidden here, how could the Jedi leave it abandoned is beyond me." Khan shook his head.

They moved through the halls until they found the first library. A lot of the books and scrolls were missing, but the shelves were still packed.

Khan ran his finger along the spine of a book, amazed at how well they were preserved. "It would take us years to go through all this knowledge. Habitat, send personnel droids to explore this library and catalog everything inside."

Belia pulled a book from the shelves and sat at a table. Seeing this, Khan did the same. They didn't need to explore the vast halls of this library and waste time.

While they were reading books, Natasha and Sheva had already surrounded the village. Droids we're constantly brought in every few minutes and the count was already at six hundred.

The village was built on the side of the mountain with hidden paths leading towards it. Boulders surrounded it on all sides and made it even more difficult to find. If not for the satellites in orbit spotting it would be near impossible.

Natasha glanced at her bracer and saw everything was in place. "Go, open fire. Don't let any slip away."

She gave the order calmly and without expression. Even Sheva could feel how cold her tone was as she gave an order that determined the fate of a thousand lives.

The assault droids rushed in with their drones and the assassin opened fire. Over a hundred blue bolts streamed across the air at the same time and hit their targets with precision.

Without notice, a hundred Ysanna had already fallen.

"^÷¶€¶€∆`¥~^~÷!!!" The Ysanna tribesmen scrambled as blue blaster fire rained down on them.

They ran into a large building made of stone and ran out with what looked like rifles. "=€÷¢¶`!!"

They fired bullets at the assault drones. The drone moved to dodge but the bullets curved in the air and hit them dead center. The bullets packed a tremendous impact and actually destroyed the drone.

"They're using the force to guide their bullets and increase their damage." Natasha's brows furrowed. "I've read about this from the database, a lost ability to imbue the force into weapons. It was used before the time of lightsabers."

"It seems like this won't be as easy as we expected." Sheva's face fell. The droids were trying to take out the Ysanna before they could arm themselves, but they moved too fast and were able to dodge the blaster fire.

"They're all force sensitive." Natasha signaled for the assault and mercenary droids to move in for close combat. These concussive rifles shoot too fast and are too accurate to engage in long-range combat.

"Go, send in the Rattataki. Their particle shielding will stop the bullets." She turned to Sheva who could only agree.

"Rattataki!! Charge!!" Sheva pulled out her lightsaber and ran forward. Her Rattataki followed behind her with their blasters in hand. The laser sight from the blasters and shoulder-mounted cannon acted in tandem.

They aimed their blasters and fired while the shoulder cannon was fully automated.

"÷×|¶|°|°!!" The Ysanna turned their guns to Sheva and fired.

Her lightsaber danced in her hand and melted the bullets fired at her. Her soldiers didn't back down as their shields blocked the damage.

By the time the shields started flickering, they had already closed the gap. The closer they got the less accurate the Ysanna's bullets became.

Sheva used her saber to slash through their guns while her soldiers gunned them down behind her. They moved like a wave towards the weapon storehouse and eventually blocked the door.

With their assistance, the droids were able to move closer and overwhelm them. The bodies started piling up and the women started fleeing with the children.

Natasha finally showed a smile when she saw this, but when she noticed she lost two hundred droids her smile vanished. "These tribes are stronger than I thought."

She watched until all the Ysanna were stunned. She walked into the village as the droids began binding everyone and separating the young children.

"How're their capabilities up close?" She stopped in front of Sheva.

Sheva shook her head. "Their use of the force is rudimentary. Slight precognition and enhancing their body is all they can do. Without a decent range with their guns, they are nothing."

Natasha fell into thought. She tapped her bracer and an image of Habitat appeared. "Habitat, the droids were designed to tank energy weapons, not slug throwers. How long will it take the droids to be retrofitted to charge into combat?"

"You want to revamp the droids just to fight slug throwers?" Habitat shook her head. "I'll just make a thick armor shield to protect them until they get close."

"That won't work, they can control the bullets to turn." Natasha disagreed.

"So what do you want? For me to redesign the droids or make a new class?" Habitat shrugged and gave up trying to reason.

"I need a heavily armored and fast droid to initiate combat. Preferably they should have great crowd control abilities as well."

Habitat started calculating and decided to use the assault droid as a base. If she added more armor it would lose some of its dexterity but that's okay. This droid would be used for pure melee and could remove its integrated drone control system. Instead, opting to incorporate those sensors into its body.

"The droids have been designed. I can rush ten to you before the day is over, but any more will push back the sector's defense systems from being built."

"Thanks, Habitat." Natasha turned off her comms and looked at the village. As she spoke to Habitat, the spider bots and construction droids had already begun their work.

The spider bots created stone bricks and the construction droids began building structures and repairing the damaged droids.

"Are we going to attack another village, or wait for the new robots?" Sheva came up to Natasha.

"Wait for all our troops to arrive. The Cereans should also arrive soon. They're experts at growing crops and can be used for that. We first need to break the wills of these locals."

As she spoke her green eyes flashed yellow for a moment. "Separate them into smaller groups, they can't draw comfort from each other if they're kept apart."

"Leave it to me, Rattataki know a thing or two about making people suffer. After we separate them into groups, we can force them to fight each other for food. This will turn them against each other and make them easier to control."

Natasha nodded in agreement. She knew taking over this planet would take time. They couldn't spend all their resources guarding prisoners, they needed to turn some people to their side.
