YANG XIAO LONG POV

"Jaune. What do you mean by Pocket Dimension?" Ruby asked.

He smiled at Ruby "Before we start. I want you girls to promise me something."

"That'll depend on what the promise is." Weiss said.

"The promise is simple. You cannot tell anything that you see in this place to anyone without my permission. Not even your close family and friends."

"And if we don't want to make the promise?" She asked.

"Then the portal is still behind you." Jaune said "You can still leave. But if you come with me then I want a promise that you'll never tell anyone about this. Or at least ask me if you want to tell someone about this."

This… this was getting stranger by the minute.

But they had come this far so…

"I promise." Ruby said. She turned to look at her sister and nodded as well.

"Very well. Unless you have a secret dungeon in here where you torture people, your secret is safe with me." She said. And it was a promise.

She was definitely a bit weirded out by this whole thing but she trusted Jaune.

Then they all turned to look at Weiss who looked uncomfortable about the whole thing. "Weiss?" Pyrrha asked.

Weiss closed her eyes and sighed "Very well. I promise."

"Okay. Now can you tell us-" she paused when Jaune raised a hand to gesture her to stop, his eyes still focused on Weiss.

"You cannot tell anyone Weiss." Jaune said "I know that you're close to your elder sister and that she'll still in Vale. But you cannot tell her either."

"Oh… very well. I mean. Yes. I wasn't going to tell her!" Weiss said and she felt her heart sink.

Weiss was going to tell her sister, wasn't she?

Did her own promises really mean nothing to Weiss?

"Promise me, that you'll not tell anyone about this. Not even your sister." Jaune said, his voice hard and uncompromising now.

Weiss took a deep breath to calm herself and then nodded.

"Okay. I promise. I won't tell anyone about this." Weiss said.

She looked at Jaune and noticed him staring intensely at Weiss.

Then she noticed a hint of sadness in his expression.

He closed his eyes and sighed.

"You're lying." He said, his words ringing throughout the clearing. And for some reason, she found herself believing those words.

She looked at Weiss and the girl looked shocked.

It… was not the expression one would've made if they were telling the truth.

"I'm not lying!" Weiss protested but it rang hollow to her ears.

"Weiss." Ruby said and that single word was enough to put a stop to Weiss' upcoming tirade. The look Ruby was giving to Weiss at the moment… she never wanted to be on the receiving end of that look.

"Pyrrha. Please escort Weiss back to our room." Jaune said, looking at Weiss in disappointment and regret.

"Wait! I'll not tell anyone about this. I promise. Jaune. Please. Jaune!" Weiss said but Pyrrha dragged her out of the forest and back into the room.

Then Pyrrha did something and the portal closed behind Weiss, leaving the four of them all alone in the clearing.

She sighed. The negative emotions they were feeling might bring Grimm to this clearing.

Not that any of them would have any problem with the couple of Grimm but the place was beautiful and she didn't what it to be scarred by battle.

Then there was the whole mess with Weiss that she didn't even want to think about right now.

"Jaune. Whatever secret you wanted to show us, it better be worth it." She said. "And let's get out of here before we're surrounded by the Grimm."

"Yang. Do you know what a Pocket Dimension is?" Jaune asked.

"No. And I really think that we should shelve this conversation for later and go somewhere else before the Grimm arrives here."

"Yang. There are no Grimm in this place." Pyrrha said and she turned to look at the girl incredulously.

"What?" Was this some kind of island? A place where Jaune and Pyrrha wiped out all the Grimm from. Was this the place where they went from time to time? Their own private training ground?

"There are no Grimm in this place." Pyrrha repeated.

"Not even one?" Ruby asked.

"No. Not even one." Pyrrha said.

"That doesn't mean that we should let our guards down." She said "Just because you wiped out the Grimm from this place doesn't mean that more won't come. We might still get surprised by a Nevermore or a Griffin."

"Yang" Jaune said and she looked at him "This is a separate dimension inside a small pocket of space which can only be connected to Remnant through Portals. When I said that there are no Grimm in here, I meant it. There. Are. No. Grimm. Here. Not even one. And they won't start appearing out of nowhere. So relax."

She frowned and contemplated the words he just said.

It took her a while to understand everything he meant and then she stared at him.

"What?"
