18-Sore Losers 2/2

The villains trying to kidnap Mina had a far larger and toothier problem now, the massive 3 meters tall big bird from hell who is primarily draining the villains of blood as well as throwing others off the building to their death.

2 of the villains who show the ability to fly try to fly away out of fear. Erebus finishes the rest of the villains off and then notices the other 2 trying to escape.

"SHIT SHIT SHIT!!" one of the flying villains screams in a panic as they both flee, their train of fear cut off permanently as Erebus leaps after one to only grab him and hurl him at the other in mid-air, killing both on contact.

Meanwhile, Victoria and Kurogiri talk as the shadowy figure is on guard, but Muscular has a thirst for blood in his eyes.

"So did you lot just come to get your asses kicked or just to throw empty threats?" Victoria says without the slightest ounce of fear despite how her situation looks to the average person.

"We know you have One For All, and our leader is coming to claim it!" Kurogiri says.

Muscular couldn't help himself in the face of such a fun opponent as he charges at Victoria with his entire body wrapped in his muscle fibres.

"Didn't your parents ever tell you interrupting is RUDE!" Victoria finishes saying as she uppercuts Muscular so hard that he flies up and into the roof, eventually breaking out into the surface and continuing to fly like he was fired from a cannon.

"Now, you tell that hashbrown looking vegetable that you call a master to come and fight his own fights instead of sending his men to the slaughter. Oh, and conduct a better strategy than attacking the day after you just tried.," Victoria says as she flies through the hole Muscular created.

Kurogiri is left dumbfounded at what he just saw that he doesn't talk or move, just standing there.

Victoria makes it back up to the rooftop where Mina is who looks terrified.

"VICTORIA!!" Mina says as she breaks out into tears and hugs her girlfriend.

"I'm so sorry for leaving you, they set up a trap for me to fall into," Victoria says as she simply stays there, on her knees and embracing the woman she loved.

"Tell me, Mina, what happened? You shouldn't be this shaken up from me just leaving for a moment" Victoria says as she looks into Mina's eyes.

"T-There was a monster here, it...it killed people," Mina says as she just sits there with a look as though she is shell shocked.

"Come on, Edgeshot's agency isn't too far down the road, we need to get help," Victoria says as she Princess carries Mina as she flies off the building and down the street to the Edgeshot agency.

Meeting Edgeshot was what I expected. He takes his job more seriously than the majority of the heroes I have seen, getting a small but strong squad of heroes together to go and check out the scene of the crime. Mina's parents came and got her, thanking me for keeping her safe.

I was then asked to not only write a statement that would be given to the heroes and police alike, then getting an interview of sorts from Edgeshot's 2nd in command, a Hero named Gridlock. He asked me questions to later match up if my written statement and scene of the crime would add up which It did perfectly.

Mina wasn't kept nearly as long as me as she was only a witness. I however needed to cut through a hell of a lot more red tape with my parents needing to come in and choose whether or not to sign a protection advisory where pros would escort me to and from school, as well as monitor my house for villain activity. They declined as they know the extent of my abilities that I have shown to them, but Mina's parents signed it for safety measures.

I went straight up to my room when we got home and just sat there as Nima and Erebus stand there and look at me.

"Good job you muscle-bound dumbass" Nima says as she punches Erebus against the arm without being too serious, still being enough to make a clapping sound from the air pressure.

"No, it's my fault, I forgot to tell him not to kill," Victoria says.

"No no no, he has had a brain for a day, you should be smarter," Nima says.

"Nima, drop it, he was literally born yesterday," Victoria says as she raises her voice, shutting up Nima real quick.

Hendrick and Hina sit downstairs, watching the T.V in complete silence.

"I'm going to talk to her," Hina says as she attempts to get up, but is stopped by Hendrick who grabs her by the arm.

"She needs time alone. If anyone could get over something like this, it's her" Hendrick says.

Hina sits down with a depressed sounding pout, staring off into space as she thinks.

"This isn't coming from her encountering villains, it's because of what happened to Mina. We just need to stay put and let her iron things out" Hendrick says as she speaks a good point.

I stayed in my room for the rest of the day, not being able to decide if texting her was a good idea. I eventually put the phone down and decided to let her text me if she needed anything.

"I assembled your bed for you when you away," Nima says with a positive attitude, trying to cheer her Diety up.

"Thank you, Nima," Victoria says as she closes her eyes, feeling tired for the first time in a long time.
