A boy was playing alone in the streets far from their house. Although he was just alone playing with himself, he seemed to have enjoying playing alone.

His parents were at their house far from the play ground he was playing at. His parents advised him not to play outside but he didn’t listen to them as he was very bored from staying inside their house.

He first invited his friends to play outside but their parents won’t let his friends play outside. When he didn’t have anyone to play with him he just preceded to play alone. He thought he could have just fun with himself.

For about an hour he played alone until he got tired of it. He wasn’t still planning to go back from their house so he just roamed around their quiet subdivision. Although the subdivision was supposed to be lively today was very weird. Kids weren’t playing outside of their house and people aren’t going outside that much. Some were outside but it looked liked they were rushing to go back to their own homes.

He was just like having a field trip on their subdivision until he got to the most unvisited place on their place. Although it was just partly cloudy, the place looked liked it was very dark. It seemed no one was living there. A house was built on it but the house were like someone just left it and no one bought it for ages.

He looked around the corner and the house had no neighbors. The houses were far away from this one. When he got back his eyes from the house, it seemed like there was someone on the window.

“No, there isn’t someone living here. It must be my illusion.” The boy talked to himself.

The boy was supposed to go back to their house as it is near his snack time when someone blocked his way.

“Are you lost little boy?” A man asked the boy who looked liked he is still on his mid 20s. The man didn’t look scary nor anything. The man had just a blank expression plastered on his face.

“Mom told me not to talk to strangers.” The boy insisted to answer.

“I’m not a stranger little boy.”

“But I don’t know you.”

“It doesn’t matter. Look little boy, I will give you chocolates and candies if you come with me. Is that okay?” T offered.

The boy was flustered by the numerous offer of the stranger.

The kid accepted the offer and followed the stranger enter the house. When they entered the house, the first thing the boy saw was a lifeless living room. The house was covered in dust an spider webs. The man then leaded him to the stairs. The stairs were old enough when they aren’t careful in stepping into it they might fall off. When they got upstairs there were three rooms. Two on the left and one on the right. The man leaded him on the right room. The room looked liked it was the masters room. The man seated on the bed waited him to get closer..

“Close the door kid.” The boy closed the door. “Before I give you the chocolates and candies you must agree what will ask you to do.” The boy nodded as he wanted the chocolates and candies the stranger was talking about.

The man come near him until his back was laying on the walls.

Until then he was smelling fear and when he was about to cry the man warned him.

“If you cry then you won’t have the sweets.” The boy stopped his flowing tears and the man leveled unto his face.

The boy turned his head to the side and closed his eyes.

Present…

Jay’s POV

‘Wait… is he crying?’ I grabbed his arms and pulled him closer to me. I wiped the tears flowing into his cheeks.

“Nick? Nick? Why are you crying?” I pulled him into a hug while giving him a rub on his back to calm him down.

I tried calming him down but his tears won’t stop flowing from his eyes.

“You’re so bad! Why did you do this to me? I’m gonna get you to jail!” Nick tried to budge from my hug but I didn’t let go even though he is slapping hard my chest.

“It’s okay now. It’s okay. I’m here. We’re going to get that person in jail, okay?” Nick finally calmed down but his tears didn’t stop flowing.

After minutes of hugging him, he stopped crying and his sob was the only noise I was receiving. I pulled his face away from my chest just enough to see if he really calmed down. But I saw his face full of tears and his eyes are shut down.

“You’re probably tired from that crying. Let me get you home. Stephen probably waits for you.”

I carried his light body into a bridal carry and put him on the passengers seat. I lied him down first and put the back rest down for him to be able to sleep comfortably while I’m driving him home.

On our way, I pulled into a drive through in a fast food chain to get Stephen something to eat.

When we arrived at their house, I first knocked on their door for Stephen to open the door for me because I will be carrying Nick inside.

“Yayyy! Kuya Nick!? Where’s My brother?”

“He’s sleeping inside my car. Open the door on your room so I can put him there okay?”

The kid nodded while I get Nick outside my car.

“Our room is on the right side of the floor.” Stephen told me.

“There’s a meal for you on the car. Can you get it yourself?”

“Really?! Yayy!! Thank you Kuya Jay! You’re the best!” The kid jumped in happiness while going to the car. I’m sure he can handle it himself. The meal isn’t too heavy for him.

When I got to the second floor and entered their room, I lied him down first on their bed and put a blanket over him.

“I didn’t know what I did but I’m really sorry. I’ll make it up to you, okay? I’m really sorry my bunny.” I talked to him even when he is sleeping.

‘That’s right! I’ll make it up to you for the mistake I did to you. I promise you that.’

I gave him a head rub for a while and kissed his forehead.

I looked to him sleeping peacefully first and eventually closed the door.
