Chapter Forty-Five

WHEN SHE was a child she'd heard stories of heaven. It was a place where all the good people went after their lives on earth. In that place there wasn't any pain, any sorrow, any anxiety, or separation from the people you loved. And she had fallen in love with the place called heaven. Had yearned for it in her innermost heart.

Was that where she was now? Or was she simply floating?

And if it was a place where all her loved ones were, where were her parents? Where was Dante? Where was Bryan?

Yes, where she was beautiful. A garden, and a bench where she sat, with a stream close by. She got up from the bench and walked to a man who when he turned around greeted her with a warm smile and kind eyes. She might have known him, her heart told her she knew him, but she didn't remember him.

" Can I help you with something miss?" she bit her lower lip and looked around before looking up back at him,

"Maybe. Could you tell me where I am?"
