Aaron whistles.
"Well, if this isn't some Shakespearean shit."
I glare at him and hiss.
"It is, isn't it? And don't ask me why she does it, because I don't know. She just hands it over and acts like nothing is amiss."
"But when did she start giving them to you?" I ask, inching closer.
"A week after the incident. Joshua had already talked me into it, with the money and all. He gave me the instructions and told me to wait for the drug's delivery. I was shocked to see Mrs George. She gives it to me every two weeks."
So she would be expected to give Annalise the drug today.
I glance at Aaron and meet his knowing eyes. He also read between the lines.
'You'll not remember this tomorrow...'
"You've never asked her?"
"I was instructed not to, Tequila. Besides, she's never addressed it and probably never would."
"She's Annalise's mother, so why can't she just give the drug to her?" I plow on, trying to make sense of the situation.
