It was the day before she had to leave. She had to say goodbye to Abel and it was hard for her. Abel was with Amir when she entered his room. 


As she entered, Amir gave her a look to which she nodded and then he exited the room patting Abel’s head. 


‘You are not going out today?’ Abel asked Tamina. 


‘Tomorrow, I am leaving’. Tamina said and Abel’s face dropped. 


‘Far away?’ Abel asked in a whisper. 


‘When will you come back?’ Abel asked. Tamina was expecting that question but she hasn’t found an answer yet. 


‘Don’t know, maybe never. ‘Tamina said inaudibly to Abel. Abel came and hugged her legs. He felt so tiny hugging her. Tamina crouched on her knees and hugged him back.
