From ancient times, there existed businesses that sold wishes if the customer paid the right price. It didn't matter if the wisher was human or not. For more reasons than one, the current wish granted Xiao finds it is difficult to not get lost in the mysteries of his job and the world around him. There is discord brewing all around him.

And, as the water thickens, so does the stakes for everyone involved. Magic might turn out to be not so magical after all as their worlds collide in his view. Not to mention, their latest acquaintance seems a little sketchy. 

And the dreams that haunt one's subconsciousness make everything much more complicated.

The Business of Wishes

The next day came too fast and the pair prepared to set out. According to Xiao, the entrance to the otherworld opened in the pressure worlds. Those places were generally heavily guarded by nature itself. 


Hence, it required tremendous luck and skill to reach those places. 


There was one spot of each world and hence, every world had 6 such spots situated in places that complemented their master. 


He had not indulged in his own world’s knowledge or anything about any other world and in that sense Xiao thought he was much better at the whole explanation thing than him. Xiao had, after all, folded under the circumstances and spoken too much. 


Coincidentally, it had all turned out amazingly well. It almost felt like the whole situation was fabricated for fulfilling this wish and if Xiao was not certain about the extent of world trees’ power he would have believed it to be.
