For more reasons than one, the current wish granted Xiao finds it is difficult to not get lost in the mysteries of his job and the world around him. There is discord brewing all around him.

And, as the water thickens, so does the stakes for everyone involved. Magic might turn out to be not so magical after all as their worlds collide in his view. Not to mention, their latest acquaintance seems a little sketchy.

The Business of Wishes

Time has no concept when you are busy. It’s not like it’s passing at a different pace. No, it’s just not as big as a thought to us at that time. 


And that’s why when Xiao saw that the two hours they had were already over, he had no choice but to call the packing quit. 


Already the material he had brought with him was minimal, but what he could bring with him further was even diminished.
