From ancient times, there existed businesses that sold wishes if the customer paid the right price. It didn't matter if the wisher was human or not. For more reasons than one, the current wish granted Xiao finds it is difficult to not get lost in the mysteries of his job and the world around him. There is discord brewing all around him.

And, as the water thickens, so does the stakes for everyone involved. Magic might turn out to be not so magical after all as their worlds collide in his view. Not to mention, their latest acquaintance seems a little sketchy. 

And the dreams that haunt one's subconsciousness make everything much more complicated.

The Business of Wishes

When the rays of water dropped down on Xiao, he wanted to sigh and relax a little more into the stream but then thought better of it. While he hated getting wet, once he stood in the water, all his problems seemed to be washing away. 


It felt relaxing to his sore muscles. Moreover, it seemed to calm his mind down a lot. But at the same time, he didn’t like the silence which came with a quick shower. It made the thoughts in his mind swirl a lot. 


“DONE YET? WE NEED TO LEAVE” Xiao sighted at the shout and turned off the water. His hair which was stuck to his back irritated him a lot but he could do nothing but deal with it. 


“Don’t scream so loud” Xiao complained as he exited the bathroom with a towel covering his lower part and one in his hair. However, the bedroom he exited into had no one inside it.
