From ancient times, there existed businesses that sold wishes if the customer paid the right price. It didn't matter if the wisher was human or not. For more reasons than one, the current wish granted Xiao finds it is difficult to not get lost in the mysteries of his job and the world around him. There is discord brewing all around him.

And, as the water thickens, so does the stakes for everyone involved. Magic might turn out to be not so magical after all as their worlds collide in his view. Not to mention, their latest acquaintance seems a little sketchy. 

And the dreams that haunt one's subconsciousness make everything much more complicated.

The Business of Wishes

They were being watched from the second they had left their house again. But it had not been as bad as it was at that moment. If Mr Barton noticed anything, he did not show it on his face. So either he was a part of whatever that was going on or oblivious. 


Or was choosing to remain neutral till he knew more about the situation. Xiao could not be sure what the factor at work was here. However, his feeling was getting worse. The adrenalin from the morning had not yet faded out. 


Somewhere inside his stomach, something was flopping around which he ignored. He didn’t have time for such frivolous things right now. It would be much better if they worked alone from here on out. 


“Kei, we need to get rid of all our escorts if possible. I don’t think the person following us has any intention of letting us go” at first Xiao had thought that they were being followed because they had the child with them.
