When the two of them broke off from the lip-lock, it seemed like that they both immediately returned back to their senses. Rhea shoved at Phileas dropping him back on the couch, and then got back on her feet. Rapidly turning around, she balanced her right hand with her left while she tapped at her temple with her fist wondering what had gotten into her to make such a move. It was very odd of her.

Perhaps, she thought, she was getting into the role too much. But wait, are the female leads in a fantasy novels not supposed to be shy, amicable, fragile, yet strong willed somehow? Then judging by that, was she some sort of a joke of a side character in her own story? Does not dress well, is too friendly with the officials, does sword training, has a poor excuse of etiquette, and is a tad bit too bold about romance.
