Hope and her mother move in with the Kingsley’s after her mother’s divorce. She hopes that in time  her new family will accept her. She is quiet and timid all the qualities that  Joshua hates he teases an instant disliking to her and makes a plan to make her life hell. Caleb is his best friend but once he sees Hope he is infatuated with her and plans on spending more time with her than his best friend, which makes Joshua hate her even more, can Caleb save her from her stepbrother’s anger?

Caleb walked hand in hand with Hope down the road trying to forget about what he’d seen in the house when he entered to pick her up, but it want easy. ‘Are you okay Caleb? You’re awfully quiet have I done something wrong?’ 


‘But he was on top of you. I can’t help but think it’s like it was before you left.’ 


‘Look Caleb. I’m not the girl I was three months ago you have to trust me.’ 


‘You want me to explain what happened?’ 


‘He caught me off guard. My reflexes kicked in when he come behind me and tapped my shoulder so I threw him but it didn’t go to plan he has good reflexes and he’s quick. He wasn’t bullying me Caleb you have to trust me on this.’ 


‘I know. I’m not really sure what’s going on in his head right now either.’
