Hope and her mother move in with the Kingsley’s after her mother’s divorce. She hopes that in time  her new family will accept her. She is quiet and timid all the qualities that  Joshua hates he teases an instant disliking to her and makes a plan to make her life hell. Caleb is his best friend but once he sees Hope he is infatuated with her and plans on spending more time with her than his best friend, which makes Joshua hate her even more, can Caleb save her from her stepbrother’s anger?

After Caleb and left Hope had gone to her room to find an angry Josh inside. ‘Josh what are you doing here?’ 


‘So you and Caleb are back together again?’ 


‘Is that what this is all about? Of you have a problem with me and Caleb I’ll tell him I just want to be friends.’ 


‘Look Josh I don’t want to come between you and Caleb he’s your friend and I don’t want to be the cause of any arguments between the both of you.’ 


He looked at her. She looked so sincere.’ You don’t have to do that Hope. We can all be friends I’m sure I can live with my friend dating my sister.’ I cringed. 


‘So we’re brother and sister now?’ 


‘I hope so. Look I just don’t want you getting hurt that’s all I know Caleb snd I don’t want you in tears of he finds someone else, he isn’t good at sticking around.’ 


‘I’ll be fine Josh. I’m stronger now and I’m sure I can take it if we don’t work out.’
