“ So this swastika that we see in the medal or coin was not carved by the Nazis?” asked Martín.
“No. It is a very old object, whose age is measured in thousands of years and perhaps tens of thousands. That swastika, turning in the same direction as that of the Nazis or in the opposite direction, is found in carvings on rocks in various parts of Asia and although some attribute it to the emergence of Indo-Europeans or Aryans in these latitudes, even that is not sure." Dieter paused.
“The really amazing thing is to have found it -as my grandfather did in the last century- in the context of a cave with skeletal remains that are not fully human. Although they are hominids, as you can see the thickness of the cranial bone is excessive to be of one member of our homo sapiens species.”
“What explanation do you have for those bones?” asked Debbie. “ Did they belong to the proto-Aryans the Nazis were looking for?”
