When they got to their hotel rooms, they first proceeded to clean themselves, as they were covered with dust and mud from the road. Upon arrival they had explained to the concierge that they had had an accident on the mountain and that they had been able to fix it. To establish an alibi Igor asked the man. 


“When we came on foot after leaving our truck we heard noises that seemed to be shots and police sirens. Do you know what happened?” 


“No, I heard them too, but the radio has not yet reported anything yet.” 


“It is very likely that in their inquiries about the incident, the police will ask about the movements of hotel guests. Better to give a reasonable explanation, which we can corroborate by showing the condition of the truck.”
