Hinam took Liyal home with him, and gave him a room of his own.
Hinam's bungalow had three nice bed-chambers, inclusive of toilets and bath spaces.
It also had a large storeroom, a big kitchen, a big parlour, a sizable patio just outside of it, a dining room, and a laundry room.
He had purchased the compound from a wealthy merchant, who wanted to move out of Kirith entirely with his family, to another Kingdom.
It was solely for residential purposes initially, but Hinam converted parts of it for farming, and rearing his animals.
The compound now comprised the big bungalow, his farm, his cow shed, and chicken coop.
It still had lots of space, should he think of including anything.
The large compound was fenced round with a thick, high stone-wall, complete with a sturdy iron gate, and had only that gate for entrance and exit.
Hinam had removed the other gate in order to easily catch intruders, should anyone be foolhardy enough to invade his compound.
