Slowly but surely, the years flowed by, and Prince Liyal turned fifteen.
It was then that Lord Roka decided to release him to go on the thrice-a-week training Hinam did with his ever-growing elite troops, in their secret locations.
Hinam opposed it a bit, his reason being that their trainings were grievous, that Prince Liyal was very young for such activities, and he could join them when he was much older.
But Lord Roka was adamant, stating that he needed Prince Liyal to be trained in that way, bringing to mind the deal they made with him when they were in the mountains.
So it happened that Prince Liyal joined Lord Roka's secret elite troops, to train in various weapons handling, hard topography activities that included mountain and rock climbing, deep sea expeditions, and various spy missions.
Lord Roka purposely made sure that Prince Liyal was sent to every dangerous spy mission he had.
