King Liyal carefully selected his Ministers and people he would work with, with Old Lexif's help, then swore them all to secrecy. 


This was because he did not want Lord Roka to know that he wasn't being his minion anymore. 


Before his planned unveiling as the true King in the Kirithian Imperial Palace, Liyal had a crucial meeting with all of Lord Roka's secret elite men that came with him, and they all resolutely swore allegiance to him. 


He had been prepared to kill any of them who did not want to side with him, and with his level of skill, he could intercept any message any of them tried to send to Lord Roka. 


Having gained and made sure of their allegiance, Liyal employed their services, and swiftly got rid of all his late father's enemies all over Kirith. 


He knew Old Lexif wouldn't agree with all of his actions, but he knew he would always have his support.
