Part XVII: Beaches of Durfa Part 1

Sun rose, everyone was preparing to their trip to Durfa. Meanwhile, Fossil and Potash arrived using Ossenia.

"Your Imperial Majesty, we are here." Fossil told Sun as they saw him.

"Oh. Hurry up, we are preparing for the trip." Sun told him and Fossil went away while Potash entered Sun's room.

"Are you ready?" Sun asked her.

"Yes, Your Imperial Majesty." Potash replied.

"Sorry. I have a really messy room." Sun told her as he were packing up his things.

"I-it's alright. I can clean it up for you." Potash told him.

"No. No. It is fine just rest there. We will have a trip later." Sun told her as he tapped her shoulder.

"Your Imperial Majesty." Flower called as she knocked and opened the door.

"Yes?" Sun asked her and Flower was shocked to see Potash in his room.

"Wh-Wh-what is she doing here?!" Flower shouted to herself as soon as she saw her.

"Is something wrong?" Sun asked her.

"N-no. I am here to tell you we are about to go." Flower told him and went away.

"She is a bit unusual but I think something is wrong." Sun said under his breath but Potash heard it.

"Is there any problem with you and Senior Flower?" Potash asked with curiosity.

"I don't know. She is sometimes alright and sometimes not. I don't know. I will know it someday." Sun replied as he closed his bag.

"Don't worry, Senior. It will be alright." Potash told him as she hugged him.

"We are going, Your Imper... ial Majesty. What are you doing to her!" Flower entered his room and shouted at him as she saw them.

"L-l-let me explain." Sun told her as she was angrily approaching him.

"You don't have to explain! I have seen enough!" Flower shouted at him as she grabbed his neck and about to slap him but Potash interfered.

"Senior Flower, His Imperial Majesty did nothing. Please don't hurt him." Potash intervened as she was about to slap him.

"Don't worry, Junior Potash. I will take care of the situation." Flower replied.

"The carriage is waiting, Your-" Fossil arrived but he was shock of what he saw.

Flower saw him and she loosen her grip while Sun fell to the floor.

"O-okay. I will be there." Sun replied as he stood up.

"I-I will go get my things." Flower told them as she went out of the room.

"Fossil, tell them that I will be there in a minute." Sun told him.

"A-as you wish, Your Imperial Majesty." Fossil replied but he was still in shock.

"Let's go, Potash." Sun told her and they went down.

They went down and Sun went to the gates while Potash went to the carriage along with Flower, Catalia and Kireina. Sun met Gabriel and the other four at the gates and they entered the palace walls while Catacius saw them as he was walking to the carriages.

"Your Grace, they will accompany us in our trip today." Sun told him as he presented them.

"Oh. Gabriel, it's been a long time since I last saw you." Catacius noticed him.

"Good morning, Your Grace. It's been a long time." Gabriel greeted him.

"Don't go near my daughter." Catacius whispered to Gabriel's ear as he went close to him and Gabriel nodded.

"Well then, let's go, Your Grace. The weather is very nice. It would be a waste to miss it." Sun told him.

"After you, Your Imperial Majesty." Catacius replied as they went to the carriage.

They immediately prepared a third carriage for Gabriel and his friends. After the third carriage was ready they started their trip.

"The weather is nice, isn't it?" Meishu asked them.

"Yes, Lord Meishu. We are blessed with a clear weather for today." Catacius replied.

"I hope this would continue for the whole day." Sun added.

"Let's make your last day of stay as fun as we can." Catacius told them.

Meanwhile, the second carriage where Flower and the others are riding are talking.

"How did you go here?" Flower asked Potash.

"I went here because Senior Sun summoned me and Fossil gave me a lift." Potash explained.

"Potash-san, are you one of the juniors of Sun-sama?" Kireina asked her as she was surprised.

"Uhm... Yes, Ma’am." Potash replied as she nodded.

"Nice to meet you. I am Kireina Setana the younger sister of Meishu Setana. I am the head of the ministry of arts while my elder brother is the shogun of Cherry Shogunate." Kireina introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you, Lady Kireina. I am Kaliya Kalios, daughter of the Count of Kalium County in Stoicheionese Federation. I am commonly known as Potash." Potash introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you, Lady Potash. I am Catalia Vinicarus, daughter of the Duke of Barhambria. You can call me Catalia." Catalia introduced herself.

"So, Potash-dono. I am curious about Sun-sama. Can you tell how he as a senior is?" Kireina asked her.

"His Imperial Majesty as a senior. He is very kind and brave. One time he protected me from our seniors when they tried to pick on me." Potash told her.

"I see. How about you, Flower-san. How is he as your classmate?" She asked Flower.

"Sun as classmate? He is skilled and very intelligent but he chose to learn practical things than books. If he chose to study more he would have took the top place from me." Flower told her.

"Maybe that's the reason why he is so good at sword fighting. I was surprised to see him defeat my brother. My brother fought against the alliance of daimyos who attacked the Nishino Daimyo. They won but unfortunately his son was lost. We don't know where he is. I miss my adorable little nephew." Kireina told them and she looked at the horizon.

"That is sad to hear, Lady Kireina. I hope you will find him soon." Flower told her as she caressed Kireina's back.

"I hope so. I really miss him." Kireina told her.

"We are here, Your-." The coachman told them.

"Mr. Coachman?" Catacius asked him but he didn't respond.

"I will look..." Catacius was about to went out when Sun stopped him.

"I will look. You stay here, Your Grace." Sun told him as he opened the door and went out.

He saw the coachman was strangled to his demise.

"Gabriel! Ready yourselves! Protect the carriages! Fossil assist them." Sun shouted as he saw a woman on the horizon with large stalks behind her.

The woman with green hair and brown eyes attacked her with giant stalks. Sun easily fought them but his foot was trapped by a bunch of grasses.

"Am I a bother?" The woman asked him.

"Uhm... maybe? Maybe not." Sun replied as the grasses around his feet burned.

"H-how could you?" The woman asked him as her eyes went wider when she felt a sword pointing at her neck.

"How could I what? Your pathetic moves won't take a chance against mine." Sun told her as he pierced her with his sword.

"Pathetic you say? Giant Flytrap!" The woman shouted and she leapt away summoning a giant flytrap. It devoured Sun.

"Flytrap? Sun Strike!" Sun asked and he attacked the flytrap burning its head.

"I-impossible! N-no one survived any attacks from my flytrap." The woman shouted at him.

"May I know your name? Your magic seems familiar." Sun asked him.

"Alabama. Alabama Terra is my name. But I am known as grass." Grass replied.

"Terra?!" Fossil shouted in himself in shock.

"I knew it. You are from the Moon Realm." Sun told her.

"What's wrong from being born in the realm? Other kingdoms always brand us as a traitor and we are forced to live our life of crime." She asked him.

"There is nothing wrong with that. The problem is that your realm is always attacking us." Sun told her as he went down to approach her.

"Too close! Seed Burst!" Grass shouted as Sun went near.

"Reflecting Mirror!" Sun shouted as he swung his sword.

"N-no!!!!" Grass shouted as the seeds burst in front of her.

"I know you are going for an attack. Those tricks won't work for me. Go now or I will finish you here." Sun told her as she was lying on the ground because of the explosion.

She went away and Fossil hurriedly called the city militia to investigate. Gabriel was assigned to drive the leading carriage on the other side of the beach.

"We are finally here!" Catalia told them.

"Let's get changed everyone." Kireina told them.

"Let's go!" Potash added and they went to the female's dressing room.

Meanwhile Sun and Meishu set up their own umbrella. Meishu was eating in his tent while Sun was looking over the horizon on his tent when Fossil arrived.

"Your Imperial Majesty, the enemy earlier was an assassin from Moon Realm." Fossil reported.

"Don't tell me the details now. Let's chill. By the way, call the five boys." Sun ordered him.

"As you wish, Your Imperial Majesty." Fossil replied and went away.

Catacius was on the crime scene investigating what happened. The women went out of the dressing room on their swimsuits.

"The weather is very bright!" Kireina shouted as they went out of the dressing room.

"We are here, master." Gabriel told Sun.

"Oh. You may now go have fun at the beach. I told you to prepare yesterday." Sun told them.

"Thank you, master." They thanked him.

"Well then, have fun. It would be a waste to not enjoy the weather. When we go to the empire you would rarely have a day off." Sun told them.

"Sir yes, Sir!" They replied and went away.

Meishu was chilling around when Kireina went to his tent.

"Hey, Onii-chan. Where is the ball? We would like to play beach volleyball." She told him.

"I don't know. You can find it in your bag." He replied.

"Oh. Here it is." Kireina got the ball but her chest hit Meishu's face leaving him stunned.

He didn't move an inch and she noticed that her chest was above his face.

"B-b-baka, Onii-chan! Pervert!" Kireina shouted and slapped him.

He still didn't move and his nose bled. Kireina went away with the ball and met the other girls.

"Senior Sun, how do I look?" Potash asked Sun as she stood in front of him.

"Uhm... uhm... you look great." Sun told her and she blushed.

"R-really, Senior Sun! T-thank you!" She thanked and hugged him.

"H-hey. I am here. I-I can't breathe. S-stop." Sun told her as she went a little high on her hug and her chest almost suffocated Sun as he went all red.

"Wh-what! S-s-sorry, Senior Sun." Potash replied and bowed.

"That's fine. I am used to that off direction hugs. You always did that back then." Sun told her.

"I am really sorry, Senior Sun." Potash apologized.

"Let's play, Potash-san." Kireina invited her.

"Sure." Potash went away and they met up with Catalia and Flower.

"Woah. You are very beautiful, Miss Flower." Catalia complimented her as she went around her looking at her figure.

"Thank you, Lady Catalia. You are beautiful too." Flower thanked at complimented her.

"Thank you, Miss Flower. But your beauty are way above mine." She replied.

"Well your figure is cute though. It makes you really adorable." Flower told her and she smiled.

Meanwhile, Gabriel and his friends were spending their time fishing.

"It was a long time since we spent time on the beach." Bryan told them.

"I think it was before Gabriel entered the naval academy?" Andrew added.

"It's been two years. After we graduated in Kandainos General Academy." Charles told them.

"It's been a long time." Gabriel stated as he recollected all their memories of the beach.

"Then the four of us accidentally joined a gang and we can't get out." Berchard told Gabriel.

"Our leader was kind at first but when you are absorbed by the gang he will be a dictator." Andrew told him.

"We are very sorry for the other day. We can't do anything. If we disobeyed him they will kill us." Berchard apologized.

"That's fine. We are still brothers. I know I went too far that day." Gabriel forgave them.

"When Master gave us the chance we grabbed it without any hesitation just to escape the gang." Charles told him.

"That's why we follow his orders." Bryan told him.

"Everyone! We are going to play beach volleyball. Who wants to join?" Kireina shouted.

"Let's go, boys." Gabriel told them.

"Yeah." They replied.
